Firstly, the lemon grass chicken is fantastic! I've eaten my fair share of bahn mi (never from Soonta) and a majority of the time, you get quite of few chewy, inedible piece of meat, every single piece of meat in the one I bought today was tender and easy to eat! Not only that, everything was extremely fresh :)As a first time buyer of 'bubble tea' I had no clue how to order one but the girl that served me was very knowledgeable in each specific drink and in the end suggested one that I ended up really liking. Fantastic customer service and very friendly staff.I will definitely be making this a regular stop based on the low prices alone!

I've only found 2 places in Mt Barker that sell Bahn Mi, and this is definitely the better of the two. The meat is delicious, the chilli distribution is nice and even and the rolls are crunchy. I've taken a point off, only because i have found a shop in Murray Bridge that is slightly more traditional with its ingredients. But this is still a great option. Full points for customer service.

One thing I have missed about working in the city is my regular lunches at Soonta.. I was so excited when I saw that this one opened in Mt Barker.Friendly staff and a delicious rice bowl was just what I needed! Pork looked lovely but I went with the Lemongrass chicken today. Great size portions... very satisfied.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I had requested no carrots to be included in my roll, but there was a large amount present. This is the first time I've encountered this issue at a restaurant. Additionally, I requested extra chili peppers, but did not receive them. My only regret is not observing the preparation of my meal, as it may have prevented me from writing this negative review. The dish was so poor in quality that I was unable to finish it, particularly the overcooked and dried pork. (recently edited)

I hate to say this, but it is probably the worst Vietnamese Roll I've ever eaten. The bread is stale, and the meat a little too dry. I would like to give this place another try but my wallet said no". I recommend the restaurant owner visit other Soonta restaurants and see why theirs is a lot better."

Soonta not only tastes so good but the staff are always working their buts off because it's so popular. When the roast pork was a little dry and there was more on the way, they gave me a little extra and apologised. They are always so nice, even when I've seen customers be rude to them.

Honestly, need to put more salad in!! I have purchased from their city stores before and it is a very different experience. Spend 15$ on a salad you would expect more.

Got the roast pork bun bowl. The pork was perfectly tender and got a great serving size. Staff were lovely over the phone too. My first soonta bowl and i will be back.
