Hemley Store

Ordered 3 pairs of shoes online on the 26th December and received the order on the 9th Jan with only 2 pairs included in the package. Contacted the store via email to alert them to the mistake and heard nothing back. Have since called again twice and been told that they would call me back and that I was on the ‘top of the list’ priority. Tried to call the store again for the THIRD time (it is now February… over a month since the original order) to which no one picked up. I even had to call the skateboard store to which the person told me that the online enquiry person usually leaves around 2pm (which seems incredibly early to me). So overall a really disappointing experience and would not recommend buying from this store for anyone considering. I am still waiting for my pair of shoes or a refund but not sure when that’s likely to happen at this stage .

Customer service was so bad! Asking for some shoes in different sizes was like pulling teeth, and we didn’t feel welcome at all. Both the guy and girl we saw working seemed to give us dirty looks when we spoke to them. Super disappointing when i’m there ready to pay almost $300 for shoes. Would never, ever go back. Avoid!

After AusPost completely dropped the ball on a delivery from Hemley, I contacted the store in accordance with the AusPost process. Matt instantly jumped into motion and absolutely bent over backwards to help me resolve the issue despite not being at fault. He even took in additional expense to do so and was an absolute pleasure to deal with! I highly recommend supporting this small business!

Rude customer service today...We often shop at the Hemley Store as we love the products there, good brands and nice selection.The skate shop upstairs is great too.Unfortunately, the team downstairs can sometimes be passive and we felt like we were not welcome to ask for shoes in different sizes - the change rooms and shoe section were messy too :(

If I could put a bomb rating for this store ... I would!What terrible service! Totally baffling in this age of shopping competition. I purchased a pair of overalls online only to be told three weeks later they weren't actually ever posted. I was given a refund for the poor service and told a free pair of overalls would be still posted to me. Nothing arrived in the mail. I was then told one month later that they didn't actually have the overalls in stock and won't be compensating in any way. Wow! What a shocker. Back to square one after two months since original purchase. Totally recommend you steer clear of this shop :)

Excellent experience buying an online gift, had a few road bumps with what colours were in stock but this was communicated quickly and clearly. Matt provided super friendly and fun service, plus he really went above and beyond to make sure the present got to my friend with birthday appropriate messaging. 10/10 customer service and 10/10 card making. Would definitely recommend Hemley Store. Cheers Matt!! :)

I hate to write bad reviews but the customer service was really bad. I felt unwelcome and was ignored while staff had a conversation across the store without acknowledging I was there. When I asked a question about the price of sunglasses I was responded to rudely. This was the second time this has happened to me.

Really rude customer service. I’ve tried this store multiple times and had bad experiences dealing with more than one of the sales assistants. I won’t bother trying again and wouldn’t recommend that service to anyone.

Very busy but staff still made me feel warmly welcome and were super helpful. Thank you, I love my new Birkenstocks.
