Have been taking our German Shepherd here for the past 18 months, have been happy with all the advice and information given. Fair priced for check ups, vacancies and other usual concerns.Staff are always friendly and helpful, thanks!

The staff are so friendly and professional. Dr Ashleigh was very nice and informative about the anaphalatic reaction from a vaccination that my little Chiko had. He's made a full recovery now which is a huge relief. Know better next time how to handle things.

We had the hard decision to put our Bobby (Jack Russell x Bichon Freise) to sleep, the Dr and the staff were so kind, considerate and can I say loving, Thankyou so much for all the support you gave us.

Took my two dogs last night, would have got 5 stars for the lovely vet but the girl at front desk was awful and let the practice down, after waiting 20 minutes I politely asked her if the wait was much longer as my dogs were getting stressed - her response was that they had had emergencies in and they couldn’t foresee everything!! I understand that emergencies happen and things don’t go to plan as I work in dental but I just explained that they could perhaps have advised us when we arrived rather than just leaving us waiting, she just shrugged her shoulders!! Not the best representation of the practice

Always friendly and professional, for some reason Our Buddy loves it there, we can’t touch his feet they seem trim his nails no probs every time. Dogs know very competitive on price

The vets are very professional and caring. All the staff is very nice and empathic. They always listen to you carefully and do their best to respond to you and your pet's needs. We sadly had to euthanise one of our cats due to his age and his health condition and the doctor supported us in this difficult moment. She even sent us a card on behalf of all the staff to express their condolences which we really much appreciated. We highly recommend this clinic.

We have been coming to this vet for many years and they have always been fantastic. They always greet with a smile and absolutely adore all of the animals that come to see them.They take the time to explain things so that you understand all of your options.We have had pets with chronic conditions as well as one requiring surgery to an injured leg and the staff have been amazingly caring and compassionate, as well as the outcomes being better than we could have hoped, meaning our dogs have all lead very happy lives.We have had dog breeds that have very specific needs and we have always found those needs to be well met.We do not hesitate to recommend Southern Animal Hospital to anyone who asks, and will continue to use them well into the future for all of our furry friends.
