I went to buy a Budgie from this place. Turns out they’re $60 which I personally think is way too overpriced. I asked for what they’re cheapest Budgie is and it’s $55 for the yellow ones that look unwell. This is insane pricing as you can get Budgies for $15 - $30 at a PetBarn or Breeder which have healthier and well taken care of Budgies. Also to add, the Bunnies are cute but they have such a small space they can barely move around. This place just seems full of animal cruelty and is too small to even be selling animals, especially over pricing them when they’re clearly not taken care of. The market place should be for products only, not live animals.Honestly happy I did not fund this place.

My friend and I walked in and impulse bought two goldfish and it was very affordable (there was a package deal with the bowl) and they packages everything really nicely and gave us extra rocks to decorate our tank free of charge. Would buy again and recommend to a friend for some lit pets.

They have some birds available here and some pet supplies, most of it is very cheap plastic junk though.

We got our lovely Peter from Queen Victoria Market Pet Store and his supplies from them all the time. Best pet store in Melbourne really. Always friendly owners made my wife and I feel very welcome every time we swung by.

It's a hot and lovely night market. There are a variety of food choices with various dessert and drinks together with live music. Also, you can find quite a lot of souvenir items there. People spend a night full of funs and joys there.

Great pet shop for bunny owners. This shop has everything you need for your rabbits and sells bales of oaten hay which is better than what you can get at your other pet shops (and better value).

I've had some memories of buying birds like canary's, finches and even fish from this pet store in lately timed F - lane way shed. But that was 33 years ago back then, it's about as good as you were going to get nowadays (although that's not saying much as I used to remember the farm animals that used to resided just outside the meat & dairy area later regulated near the misinformed L shed in the mid 2000's as well) until various groups like PETA and our melbourne councils destroyed the animal element to the now dying market as of the 21st century. So I'll give it 3 stars for the memories decades ago but you're still not ever ever going to get me to ever go back to Vic Market ever again...

extremely unethical bird care. i do not know about the rabbits or otherwise but it looked bad. i know fair bit about birds as a longtime owner of a few myself and the care is just disgusting. there was a bird that was practically naked with how many feathers it had plucked. if you're reading this and considering getting a pet like a bird or a rodent (or any pet for that matter), i highly recommend doing some very thorough research on husbandry as well as looking into ethical breeders or rescues. places like this are so awful, i have no idea why they still exist.
