Small Café with a cool vibe with Japanese dishes on the menu. Easy to walk past it as it doesn't jump out at you from the street. 3 pages (!!!) of exotic Beers on the menu and several of Gin. Some weird soft drinks as well. Loved the drinks menu in the old comic book covers! Waiters were friendly and our light meals came out promptly. The Bao and the Gyoza were excellent and very tasty and beautifully plated. My wife's Salmon Don bowl was well made but we didn't like it. The white crispy stuff and crispy Kale were nice but my wife doesn't like soft boiled/poached eggs and the sauces were way too sweet for her liking. Perhaps a more descriptive menu for dishes that many people are not so familiar with?

AMAZING FOOD AMAZING VIBE AMAZING STAFF!Came all the way from Melbourne to try this out because the menu sounds so good.Got free mushroom ball that i wish was on the menu so i could order more (SO GOOD)THE karaage with gochujang glaze was also super delicious. Kind of reminds me of korean sweet and spicy chicken.For spice lovers, the tantanmen is not spicy enough and the chili flakes did not help to spicen it up.all in all i love this place!! would come back next time when i visit Bendigo.

Be careful not to walk past or you will miss out on one of Bendigos hidden gems as this modern Japanese fusion restaurant serves amazing food at a reasonable price.The staff is really great, attentive and always good for a quick chat. Each of the dishes and drinks are exceptional in taste, flavour and presentation.Definitely a great place for a nice dinner when in Bendigo.

The most delicious Japanese cuisine! This was my first time dining inside, previously only ordering takeaway.The service was quick and friendly. And the interior design is fun and quirky. It is extremely small and tight, so not the place to go for large groups. Perfect for couples or a few friends.There is a great selection of vegan and gluten free options, and a huge beer range! A great little place providing fresh and interesting food, always updating the menu too!

Hands down the best food we've had in Aus. The flavours were something else. We went back twice to sample more of the menu! For the price, the quality was incredible and the portions are a decent size. Difficult to get a table though, so get there early.Highly recommend the mushroom ramen. The vegan chilli ramen was very spicy.

A little surprise eatery in Bendigo! We ate in the lane-way and were transported to Japan, the tapas style menu and the food that we ordered were delicious. Make sure you make a booking in advance as there is very limited seating and you really need to try this place!

Food was delish! So many great choices you will feel like to order one of each! Staffs were also lovely and very prompt service, without being rushed at all eventhough they're so busy. Booking is recommended as they're always flat out. Must try their Pork Belly Bao and Chicken Kaarage. Will come back here again for sure.

Loved this cool little retro vibe restaurant! The food was great and they support local products. Received prompt service from super friendly staff. Visited for lunch on a weekday, so it was relatively quite. Very small restaurant though, so I image it would get very busy of an evening or on weekends. The prices were more expensive than similar restaurants in Melbourne, however, the quality and serving size of the food was very good. Great range of menu items too. Would definitely return.
