People are not fed properly ,just enough to survive.Looks great on paper,but nothing like it in reality.

My mother recently moved into Iris Manor for permanent care. The help, care and attention she has received through her transition from home has been remarkable. Nothing has been too much trouble for the staff. Mum has always been a very picky eater, and the amazing chef has spent so much time with her ensuring she is always happy at meal times. Thank you Sushila and Annie for your time and patience. I don’t know where we would be without you.

I am a carer and have been a carer for 15 years. I would not send my loved one to this facility. I attended a client there and they spoke rudely to me when i said he would like a coffee and told me that he is too have lemonade now. They used a hoist with him that nearly ripped his arms out of his sockets and they do not speak to the residents like they are people. The actual facility is dingy and old. Not even magazines for the clients. They just sit the residents there with nothing. I left feeling concerned.

My Mother has been in this Facility for approximately 3 years now and previous to that she was in another age care facility that was owned and managed by the same family for approximately 3-4 years. I could not praise the staff and owners more. Anything we ask for is not with litte effort. Everytime we visit, we are always made to feel most welcome and there is always activities that Mum is attening or has attended.We always said that we would not allow Mum to stay in a place that we would not stay in ourselves and Iris Manor certinally lives up and exceeds our expectations.

My Wife -Alexandra has been a resident on respite at Iris Manor for almost a month now, with her own cosy room and en suite attached, and she could not be happier. On first arriving the welcoming was warm, friendly and informative of all the services provided. Very professional. The ambience of the entire place with its dining and lounge rooms indeed reminded me of a Grand Manor. On a tour of the premises and induction, we were told- if you want a cup of tea or anything

My Father is a permanent resident at Iris Manor, he has always been very happy and is extremely well cared for by the wonderful staff who operate this facility , our family are so grateful that dad is in great company & care
