We visited RAAF Base Wagga Wagga (Forest Hill) the aircraft displays, the museum and the Church a recreation from Darwin along with the history of various bases around Australia was very interesting, the conversion of the old guard house to museum has been very effective and makes for an interesting display. It is worth making a stop and checking it out.

Wow alot has changed. I last came past in early 1985 and there were 2 Sabre's, as gate guardian's. Which are my favourite fighter.I wanted to join the RAAF, but the ADG muster had closed, so I joined the Army instead

Absolutely brilliant the museum was great and so much history. The guided tour through the museum was really informative great for the kids too, they had a ball. The guides are ex RAAF recruits.

In May I visited the RAAF museum at Wagga with my godson who is a soldier based at Kapooka. The museum was very interesting and informative. The display of aircraft outside was also interesting. I remember the controversy surrounding the purchase of the F111 fighter. It looked very impressive in its camouflage livery. The Canberra bomber brought back memories of seeing one at Hobart airport in the 1960s.
