Style & Grace Barwon Heads

I wish I never found this salon.I’ve moved back in Geelong and wanted to try someone closer to home for when I couldn’t make the trip to Melbourne to get my hair done. BIG MISTAKE! I was booked in with 1 person but ended up seeing 2.The first, Grace, knew she needed to leave early (for an unavoidable reason) and I was not upset about that, BUT if she knew that was the case and communicated that to me, I would’ve rebooked for a different time. My foils were rushed, they were patchy and multiple spots of bleeding, even on my fringe!!The second hairdresser, Jackie, cut my fringe uneven, she also thinned out my hair close to my scalp when I asked her not to. Now I have short stubby areas around my crown and can only part my hair in the middle! This is going to take months and months to grow out!The colour was not what I wanted!!!! I had to go back a second time for them to fix it. Even then they couldn’t fix it!! I have so much warmth around my face frame. They refused to show me a colour chart so I could explain what I wanted.All up, 7 hrs at the salon and I still hate my hair. 100% will not be going back.If only I could add photos I would show how bad of a job they did.

My third visit today with Ash, after a disastrous hair experience in Ocean Grove, I came to Style And Grace for help. Ash has helped my hair recover and I always leave feeling on top of the world . Now I just go in and let her decide what colour and style to do. It’s rare to be able to entrust a hair stylist to do whatever they think is best, which is testament to the level of professionalism , care and attention that Style and Grace provide. You’re in good hands .

There was another lovely lady who helped to dry my hair I didn't get her name, I would like to thank her aswell.These ladies are professional, friendly and they do a great job.Highly recommended.

DO NOT USE! I want to give ZERO STARS. I came from Melbourne for my wedding weekend and needed a shampoo before the big day. Eliza did a good job BUT what I didn’t expect was that another staff member and her client (who were listening to my conversation) thought it was appropriate to COME TO MY WEDDING AS THEY WERE NEIGHBOURS OF THE VENUE.Who in their right mind thinks it’s appropriate to come to someone’s wedding uninvited? Unprofessional and disgusting behaviour.

The staff here are always so friendly and helpful. They always give honest advice related to what you want and go above and beyond to make your visit an experience. Such a beautiful salon and wonderful staff.

I was given a fabulous cut at this salon

Hair shampoo was poorly done, water too hot, massage very rough. The stylist didn't listen & cut my hair the exact way I said Not to do it. And proceeded to tell me I was wrong. $70 cut I can get anywhere for $30. Very poor customer service.

All the way from Melbourne and I landed in the right place for beautiful results on my hair colour cut and style...two words just amazing. Ash thank you so so much for getting my hair just how I wanted it. Also thank you to the other ladies for their beautiful service.
