Manheim Adelaide

Manheim has become a dumping ground for dealer vehicles that have fundamental faults too expensive to be rectified. Obvious mechanical faults are intentionally overlooked whilst particularly minor chips and scratches are declared perhaps to instil buyer confidence. No more Manheim.

Good polite efficient service.Follow the green line and park was the only instruction, and it worked perfectly.

I purchased my vehicle and had cleared payment on 30/12/22 including freight charges. I've been waiting 2 weeks for Manheim Adelaide to freight my vehicle to find out it still hasn't even been sent. Took over another week to get email saying my vehicle is now been booked with a eta of 14/2/23. I now have to wait another month(website eta was 12 business days) to receive my vehicle. Don't let Manheim freight your car find another company. Made Multiple calls being told its all sorted and freighted after first week of payment cleared. After finding out month eta on transport, Contacted again and asked for any option of paying addition cost to express transport vehicle. Got told they will look into something and not even getting a call back. Its been another week.

Will not buy from Manheim again. Why is there no option for Zero stars here? Goods purchased were not as advertised, they took no responsibility for that, so refused to refund us. Rang to make sure goods were ready to pickup & told it was but when courier arrived 4 hours later they sent them away said they werent ready. So we've been charged for the extra by the courier, fair enough as this wasnt couriers fault but Manheims. But again Manheim take no responsibility for their incompetance & non- existent Customer Service.

Got the desired result but not without hassles.Advertised the car as 2013 when 2015. Also as 3 speed when it was 5 speed.Advised payment would take 48 hours but took a week.Their commission rates were much lower than their competitors.

The Bidding process is excellent and all works OK. What really, really annoys me is paying a minimum $33.00 buyers fee on a $20 item I just bought. The minimum charge goes on each item , small or otherwise, and I realize its on the terms and conditions , but that does'nt justify it or make it any more palatable. There are other auction sites that only charge a percentage without the (way out of proportion ) minimum fee . I would suggest you support these sites instead

Great service, quick and easy. Guys in the pick up office were really helpful and accommodating. Much better experience here than at Pickles.

Worst auction ever.Bought a car from the gold auction so it should be in good conditions, turned out to be leaking oil and water.

As a regular buyer of many years I'm writing to express my absolute disgust in the current staff at Manheim. Since the Cox Automotive take over and the new Elizabeth site in SA I've been continuously questioned, harassed and intimidated for my every move once I've entered the site to pick up vehicles. After months of this going on I spoke up about this treatment and also about the way the items are prepared and have now found myself permanently banned from bidding on these items. A staff member has personally made sure of this. They have cancelled a sale of an item on me and I'm still waiting to receive a reimbursement. Your site is understaffed and your staff are extremely unprofessional and not suitable to be in the roles they're in. The way they have handled themselves is completely disrespectful to a long time buyer who has always complied with your strict payment terms yet has been treated like a non paying customer.
