Highly recommend Maria and her salon Mae Studio 82! Maria and her team are so welcoming and lovely. I've been visiting Maria for a few years now and I love my hair cut and colour. I have lots of wavy hair. Over the years I've had all sorts of cuts (curly cuts), lengths, balayage and colours.Maria spends the time to talk through what you are after, how we can achieve it and the end result is always exactly on point (if not better)! Maria and her team have created a wonderful relaxing space.

Thank you Maria.I love having my hair done by Maria. She creates the perfect balance in her studio of expertise and space for you to advocate for what you want.I've had my hair cut by her three times, and she does EXACTLY what I ask, never makes me feel like I am in trouble for being a low maintenance hair person and is kind and bubbly and efficient.It's hard to find a hairdresser who isn't pretentious and overly authoritarian, but Maria is kind, warm and knows what she is doing.Thanks for looking after my waves lady and congratulations on the new space x

Funky new hair studio on the Brunswick / Coburg border run by the talented hair expert Maria. The space has a fresh, clean aesthetic but still maintains an inviting feel. I have been seeing Maria to cut my hair for a couple of years now, she really listens to your needs and always comes out with a result that is better than what you imagined... I have quite thick hair which is hard to manage so this has been a lifesaver! I wish I could give an extra star for commitment to sustainability as well.

Not only are they so skilled at what they do, they are so lovely and it’s such a relaxing and warm experience to go to the salon. Maria, Eleanor and Milo are gems and take time to listen to you and make your hair look the best it can. Always a 10/10 experience.

I have been getting my foils done by Maria for years, I trust her wholeheartedly with my hair. The colour is always beautiful and bright and the cut exactly what I asked for. She is friendly and easy to talk to, it's a comfortable experience sitting in the chair with her for the hours it takes and the new salon makes it even better. I always leave feeling satisfied and that says alot!! You're in for a treat. Love you Maria! X

Truly the best experience I've ever had at a salon.Maria is so talented and takes the time to talk you through everything she is doing, came out with exactly what I wanted!Elena will make you feel welcome from the moment you call to book in your appointment and goes out of her way to accommodate for you.
