I’ve visited this barber twice. On both occasions I’ve been impressed with their service and efficiency. Staff are very welcoming. The barber is always busy - although I’ve only ever visited on a Saturday. They offer head shaved with a blade as part of their service.The barber is located opposite the KFC store, and best to the Optus shop. Located inside the Ashfield Mall which is one block away from the train station. Bus services nearby.

I have 3 kids and they are very hard to settle in. The new owner David was so kind and patient with the kids loved him! He’s also great at his job we were very happy with the hair cuts. I recommended this barber shop to all my friends. Thank you scissors Taper cut for giving us a good experience we’ll definitely be back!

Best haircut I've had in a very long time. The barber/hairdresser is extremely good at what he does, and my hair came out just as I had pictured it. And that is rare indeed. It was fast, flawless and inexpensive. What more do you bloody want? Go and get yer hair cut.... You won't regret it.

Staff are constantly hanging out in the parents room which feels highly inappropriate.EDIT following comments below;That is correct the salon does not have a parents room however you are located 2 doors down from the male bathrooms, female bathrooms, accessible bathroom and the parents/carers room also known as a baby change room.To clarify a parents/carers room is a space designed to give children and parents privacy for essential activities such as feeding and changing. The space is wider to cater for prams it includes accessible bathrooms for infants, breast feeding facilities, a microwave to heat up bottles and change areas to change babies into clean nappies. Given the nature of the facility it is both awkward and inappropriate when adults without children frequent this space. Naked children and breast feeding mothers deserve some privacy, the door to the room indicates this space is for children. So while your salon does not have a parents room your uniformed staff are frequently in this room heating up their lunch or waiting to use the parents/carers bathroom.
