I’m very picky when it comes to people working on my leather goods. I searched carefully for a place that I knew would take care of my shoes. I came across On the Mend Shoe and Bag Repair and I am extremely happy with how Anna looked after me. She is extremely friendly and her work is flawless. She is really enthusiastic and from the moment I walked in I knew this was the place I would trust with all my leather goods. Love at first sight with On the Mend. Took in a much loved leather bag with more than 25 years on the clock, broken zips and worn lining. These artisans - who clearly care about their work - replaced the zips, reinforced the handles and repaired the lining with leather strips. Looks great, ready to hit the road again. Highly recommended.

On The Mend are up for a challenge! I brought in my favourite bag with a complicated strap that was coming apart - it took 2 goes and required unraveling the whole strap and reconstructing it - a laborious and time consuming process I presume, but the team at On the Mend didn't charge me any more and the bag is as good as new. I will be bringing all my repairs to them from now on. As an additional bonus there is a beautiful Staffy in the shop at all times, and as a dog lover it is always a treat to see that beautiful face. Thanks team!

This place is a gem! First time customer and I am incredibly pleased with the high quality and the friendly service. Anna knows her stuff! I took my leather bag to get the zip repaired and it was ready in less than a week. Price very reasonable too. Highly recommend On the Mend Repair!

Anna rebuilt the heels of a pair of my much loved leather high heel boots, and they are so sturdy! She was busy when I booked so I had to wait a few weeks but if you can afford to wait, do. It was so worth it. Great price and she's also a lovely person on top of that.

Anna is super friendly and does amazing work. I had a boot repaired & also a handbag. The boot need a replacement zip but Anna also added an additional piece of leather to fix the structure. She did the same with my handbag, which is now better than when I bought it. Anna has incredible knowledge & ability. Won’t take my items anywhere else.
