Very poor COVID mitigation plan. Just about to board Coral Geographer and the room is told cruise canceled due to crew member testing positive, no close contact, no backup crew the cruise is canceled. Most of the room traveled interstate and at high cost, there was plenty of anger, shock and upset. This is a very poor show for a company that should have better plans and SOPs in place. It is obvious that the SAILSAFE policy is not up to date with Fed and State policy. One crew member tests positive and does not board vessel. All passenger’s provide negative PCR and RAT tests. Crew member and his close contacts could have been replaced. Cruise could have been delayed 24hrs but cancelation is extreme. As a passenger we are expected to completes Covid tests visit with a GP, the inconvenience and extra requirements are agreed to by all passengers but it seems the weakest link is the staff who are young and carefree and will always be a higher risk regarding exposure.

The scenery and landscapes are just stunning but the wonderful crew really made this trip exceptional. They learnt our names, understood our foibles and laughed with us. Well done Coral Expeditions - I look forward to sailing with you on the Sydney to Hobart voyage. (Shame I booked early and missed out on the 10% discount)

Coral Expeditions brought out the best of Australia for each stop along the route in circumnavigating Australia--including Tasmania! The expedition staff, the hospitality staff and the ship's crew were all fantastic. As an American, the best part of the experience was befriending the mostly Australian guests on board--we became our own floating village!

Overall although I enjoyed cruise it did not meet expectations and I would look for other options to revisit the area. Communication: Not improved since Ningaloo cruise. e.g the minor" change at beginning was side-stepped so we did NOT realise it was a whole day. While not your fault - please realise that it is better to communicate clearly and guests are intelligent enough to accept necessary changes. Many times guests mentioned having seen e.g. whales and this was not announced (did improve towards end). We have done many cruises with Lindblad and the difference in this area could not be more stark. Safety: this was affected by lack of knowledge. The first walk was distinctly dangerous and adequate footwear was not advised - we were told it was a boardwalk with some steps. Actually giant steps with gaps

The Kimberley cruise on the Coral Adventurer was even more amazing than we ever imagined. The unbelievable scenery and cultural history that we learnt. The fantastic staff that looked after us the entire voyage. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience!

The staff and the ship’s are what make Coral Expeditions. Exceptional teamwork and customer service from the really wonderful AUSTRALIAN staff. THEY JUST GET GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - IT JUST WORKS on this ship (our second on Coral Adventurer - it was the same previously). I initially thought that your secret was in recruitment and to some extent it is, but after discussing it with the staff I think it is because they are truly a great team - they are friends, they live together, they don’t want to let the other members of the team down, they seem to require very little management direction - I am just blown away by this - it is just exceptional (after 40 years of customer service myself I am normally (rightly so) very critical of today’s lack of customer service - certainly not so on Coral Adventurer. I have provided the above feedback and encouragement to a lot of the staff and hope that your executive’s do as well - they truly deserve at least acknowledgment of how great they are particularly given their relatively young ages.

We booked for a historical cruise with some snorkelling and diving. Covid caused problems with the itinerary but in such a remote area maybe the cruise should be titled Snorkelling and Diving in the water near The Spice Islands" We were very disappointed"

This trip surpassed our greatest expectations, from the Master (ANDY) through all of the ship's company. Extremely impressed and proud of the young crew who were continually cheerful, professional and obliging - nothing was too much trouble. The care and assistance they provided to all the passengers (average age ?70yrs!)was exceptional - they are credit to your company and to the youth of Australia. Thank you for this incredible experience which will be remembered for a very long time. I will recommend the Coral Experience to my friends
