Col Nayler Barber Shop - New Farm

Absolutely amazing! Being a guy who loves his hair I am always skeptical going to new barbers, but I went in with absolutley no idea and came out extremely happy and pleased with not only an amazing haircut but very impressed with the professionalism and conduct of the staff! Pricing is very reasonable. Very happy customer indeed!!!

I just moved to New Farm and I was looking for a barber and I find it in Col Nayler, nice and kind place and perfect haircut. I will come again.

Had my second haircut there today, good cuts on both occasions however today the lady who cut my hair wasn't very friendly at all. She didn't say hello or how I was (I asked both and got one-word responses) - this is customer service 101. I could hardly hear her and didn't really show any interest in cutting my hair whatsoever. I didn't catch her name but it was an Asian lady. The guy next to me had a very happy hairdresser. I generally don't like to talk during a haircut so I don't mind a quiet hairdresser but the lady today made me feel very unwelcome and like a burden. She also immediately reused tools from the previous gentleman without washing/disinfecting. The other hairdresser did all this AND wiped down the chair and washed her hands after each customer. 3 stars as previous experience was good and got good haircuts both times, just very poor customer engagement today. I'm sure this is generally a very good business with the exception of this one person. I do expect more especially considering haircuts on weekends are nearly $40.

Worst experience at a barbershop I’ve ever had, and worst shave to date.Felt like I was getting my skin scraped off rather than my hair shaved off. My neck looks like a massacre hours later. Front and back has scratch marks. The lady with the brown hair had zero interest in being there, nor did she have interest in the customers needs. Not one to normally right reviews but it was terrible customer service. Retrain or give her the flick please.

Received a decent haircut however customer service was appaling. When I was explaining how I wanted my hair to be cut, I literally saw the female barber roll her eyes. She seemed to not be interested or care at all, rushing through the entire haircut although I was the only customer in the store. Never felt so unwelcomed to a barbers before. Terrible attitude, especially given that the place isn't exactly cheap.

Been going there since 2008. Great cut. Friendly staff and lots of laughs.

The barber that works here on Sunday mornings is fantastic, really nice guy and does a great haircut. Have been here twice and will be back.
