I am a member of CPS for three years now. I have taken classes with them; the teachers are very experienced and very good at pottery. The facilities are really good too; I have been to their members drop in workshop many times and they have everything you need. I love the community there and the services they provide. Definitely worth taking classes and/or utilise the drop in sessions. You will see you will improve very quickly.

I went, with two friends, to the Canberra Potters Society's March exhibition opening in Watson but we left before the official opening due to our disappointment in the lack of skills of one of the main artists. The other half of the exhibition was fine work.

Wonderful time Christmas Shopping, also grabbed some information on courses and the members volunteering - very helpful. Looking forward to more exhibitions and maybe learning something.

While I didn't explore the place a lot, thier shop has a nice small range of 'something special' across the price range. Nice gallery too.The staff are lovely and engaging.. I'll be back there and exploring more.. perhaps a class to give something new a try :)

Great learning space, you need to get in reaaaaal quick to book a space in the term long classes, they are extremely popular in talking set an alarm and book on the morning they open up. You can learn all hand building, wheel, and a range of other specialised classes. There is a showroom with an ever changing display or works and a shop with people's works available for purchase as well as clay and tools for sale. Be one a member and clay and classes are cheaper. The teachers are all very experienced and knowledgeable, theres profiles on all the teachers on the Web page which I suggest checking out before chosing a class.
