We came here with little to no expectations, it was a bit busy at lunch time. Even though we wait a bit long for our food but it’s well worth the waiting.

We only visited the club because we were visitors but needed quiet WiFi access for a zoom call to Perth ( business)The staff were welcoming and friendly.We were able to find a quiet spot, order a coffee and have our meeting.I am an exserviceman and appreciated the attention I was given. Even though they had no idea.Well done the RSL

Was only staying in town for the weekend and I loved it here, really kind and professional staff who treated us well and regularly checked up on us and how we were going, really good food, I got the scotch fillet and it was perfectly cooked and they are generous with the gravy unlike so many places that never has enough. Great night, I will definitely be coming back here.Came back the 14th of may 2021 on a Friday evening. I came fairly early there wasn't many people there yet who had ordered so I ordered the scotch fillet done medium which costs 37 dollars so it isn't cheap. We waited quite a long time for it to come out more than half an hour many people who came after us got their food first but that was fine tbh except when I got my steak it was very over cooked so I took it bacand they recooked it which I was fine with, it came out very quickly so I trued a bit the edge was cooked okay but not far in it was completely raw not even close to medium and it tasted horrible I bit into this bit of raw fat which was disgusting, so I took it back and explained I wasnt hungry anymore it had been like 45 minutes since I ordered now and its been done wrong twice I'm just not hungry anymore but they tell me its being redone so I had to insist not to and then the chef came out and started being very rude to me trying to force me to take it home or eat it but I explained it would be overcooked cold if I took it home and reheated it so its not worth that much money so he called me wrong for wasting food even though I already felt really bad about it but it isn't fair to make me pay so much for over cooked and raw meat when they knew how I wanted it cooked. He said it medium rare but it was clearly blue you can see in the picture provided and worse again I said I wanted medium but he said because I complained about it being overcooked before and apparently it was medium which is not true it had the slightest line of pink for closer to well than medium. He just treated me very rule, raised his voice and was overall very inappropriate with how hr handled it yelling at them to give me a refund but yelling about it about then came back and shoved another steak in my face showing me how he cooked it as I was leaving. The other staff were nice and is the only redeeming factor, this experience has really tainted my view of this place and made me fearful to go there anymore. Its a shame someone like that is allowed to treat patrons that way.I should add I also got the brochetta for like 14 bucks or something like that and it came on some small bread roll compared to last year it was not pleasant, last year it came on proper bread.

Nice little pub.Staff were very friendly.Food came out quick.Issue with one of the meals we had, and they fixed it with a smile.Food did taste nice .
