Came here for my birthday dinner with family and everything was wonderful. The flavours in the food were perfectly balanced and everything was so fresh. Will definitely be coming back again. Also, there are plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options.

We had a wonderful time, the food was amazing, very friendly staff, the only complaint is about the bill.We were a group of 10 and they had a surcharge of 10% which was $95.95, but on top of that we brought a cake celebrating a birthday of a friend, and they charged us for cakeage an extra $27.5To be honest I believe with $95.95 for service was more than enough.Extremely disappointed with this :(

Hands down one of the best front of house service teams we’ve encountered for a long time. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about their offering and super professional. The food was fabulous too. A great local spot for date night or with friends.

Amazing night out! The food, the service, the Californian vibes. We started with some guac and chips and some cheese empanadas. Then we sampled the various tacos - all were delish then finished with a chorizo quesadilla and the adobo beef short ribs. Oh and the cocktails - amazing!

The venue is cool and the service was friendly but the food wasn’t great. The fish tacos were watery and as you bit into them, all you could taste was sea water. Unfortunately the chicken was dry and the flavours were strange. Overall, the flavour of the actual tortilla shells overpowered the flavour of the tacos. Would I come back? Unfortunately not.

I recently visited SoCal Sydney, a Mexican restaurant that left me absolutely impressed! From the moment I walked upstairs, I was greeted by the vibrant decor, colourful lighting & music. The perfect setting for a fun night out with friends or a cozy dinner with your partner, especially sitting out in the rooftop garden.As I sat down at the table our group had reserved, I couldn't help but notice the amazing range of food & drinks on offer. The staff was quick to recommend some of their signature cocktails, and I must say they did not disappoint! The drinks were not only visually stunning but tasted absolutely amazing.Our favourites were the Mezcal Margarita & the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini!Now, let's talk about the food. The menu was diverse and catered to all dietary requirements. I decided to try the tacos and was blown away by the flavours! The meat was cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were fresh and complimented the dish perfectly.Our favourites were the Red Chorizo & Pork al pastor & prawn!Despite the restaurant being quite busy at the time of our visit, the staff remained friendly and attentive, while waiting for a cocktail for a lengthy amount of time, We were even comped with the drink being free to make up for the wait time, which was a lovely gesture.Overall, I had an incredible experience at SoCal Sydney and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out. I've also got some photos of the establishment that I'll be sure to post - the decor is definitely worth capturing!

We go here so consistently and are blown away with the service! Food is always fresh and the menu is constantly changing. We are locals and adore this Southern Californian cuisine. Also, the service is unmatched.Unbelievable experience and cocktails always. Thanks for being our favorite spot so cal!

Absolute delight. My Mexican wife is always a bit skeptical about places serving tacos while being American themed. But we had no bad surprises with the excellent food. Before we ventured into cocktail heaven and simply enjoyed being. Relaxed atmosphere, great decor, friendly service - 100% recommended.
