A lovely little cafe that's great for lunch, a snack or just a coffee. Very friendly staff and a good selection of wholesome foods. Good for small groups or individual dining.

I ordered soup and muffins from Masons Lane for catering and it was delicious!!!! They usually do vege soups which are delicious but I asked for chicken & vege soup for one of the options and EVERYONE said it was beyond delicious!! So I know where I’m gonna be this coming cold winter! And their coffee and yo-yos are of course top melb standard. Lovely staff to add to the cosy atmosphere and dog friendly seating outside as well with big windows for my dog to see me when I’m inside ordering.

It is a family-style restaurant with few varieties. The taste is authentic Australian flavor. The space is small, so you can smell the kitchen fumes. The environment is quite comfortable.

Really enjoyed our coffee here. Very friendly and helpful service. Great coffee. We ordered a muffin to share and they brought it out cut in half on separate plates - loved that! And the muffins were lovely!

Popped in for a coffee and treated myself to the most delicious savoury muffin ever!. Coffee was great, service was excellent. Friendly staff and very clean. The decor is quirky and fun. Not local to me, but i would come again

Was disappointed with the quality of food here. Especially after seeing the good ratings and photos that were on Google. The pancakes shown on Google were not on the menu. Smash avocado toast felt stale and so plain. Something you puke make at home. Nothing special.The serving staff was lovely and Drinks were ok.

Date of visit - 07FEB2022Really good coffee!It offers a small indoor area and nice shaded outdoor area next to to semi busy road for you to enjoy a coffee or breakfast, the staff are friendly, attentive and offer table service.The menu is a good sized menu with quite a bit of variety and appears to be a favourite amongst the locals!See photos - Today we are having the (massive) 'Big Breakfast' with scrambled eggs and the (spongy and fluffy more of a pancake style) 'Pumpkin and Corn Fritters'Big Breakfast PROS -- Huge serving portion- Great value- Have the eggs cooked the way you want- FillingBig Breakfast CONS -- Nothing really, perhaps for some it is too big but who would complain about that...Pumpkin and Corn Fritters PROS -- Great value and size- Yummy flavours and fresh- FillingPumpkin and Corn Fritters CONS -- Perhaps a debate as to whether these are Fritters or pancakes but nonetheless it was yum!2x dishes and 3x coffees will set you back around $55, valued as fair.South Melbourne's #1 International Reviewer for TA and Google

Just excellent. Good coffee. Great food. Quiet, prompt, friendly service. Cosy atmosphere. (Maybe it’s quiet because the level crossing is closed so there’s not much traffic?)
