The most important thing is the condition of the airstrip. It's good. For work on the Tanami, I have been flying in and out from Alice now for a while. My only recommendation is that you time your pick-up or drop off well with the departure and/or arrival of the plane. Waiting there for any length of time in summer can be unbearable for those not acclimatised. There is a shelter, I suspect there was a toilet that was usable at some point in the 1970,s. The photos show the newly upgraded QANTAS lounge and the ablution block which is only a 30m walk through long grass.
