No Bored Dogs

Absolutely cannot recommend Dean from No Bored Dogs enough. He has helped us immensely in wrangling our two little terrors who are now little angels (most of the time). Our dogs love him so much and his knowledge on breeds, behaviours and dog psychology is abundant. Absolutely the best trainer in Townsville. Dean was our third trainer but the only one we got any results from. As you can tell by the picture our Am Staff, he would literally wait for him to come each day.

Dean is definitely THE BEST dog trainer in town. After having multiple other trainers telling me it would be impossible to train both of my puppies at once we were feeling very defeated, overwhelmed and destined to have dogs without manners. Thankfully Google searching helped us find Jules and Dean at No Bored Dogs. The 3wk boot camp was incredible and after just 2 sessions my dogs had completely changed for the better. Dean was thorough, knowledgeable and was able to train both of my dogs (Am Staff & Kelpie x Border Collie) to the point where they were putty in his hands. Dean was able to identify their drive to train by understanding them as individual dogs breeds as well as understanding the psychology of the different breeds. I couldn’t recommend Dean highly enough to anyone who needs help with training their dogs, young or old. We consider both Jules and Dean family now and we look forward joining in on future socialisation activities with the No Bored Dogs participants and our now well behaved puppers. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MONEY I’VE EVER SPENT!!

I reached out to Dean and Jules when we moved up to Townsville. We have a very energetic, playful and excitable 33kg Labrador who is 18 months old but thinks he’s a 3kg lap dog.We signed up for the 3 week in house training program - it was amazing! 1 hour of training and walks 5 days a week for 3 weeks and everything was personalised for what we wanted to work on.We saw an improvement straight away - no more stealing toys from our toddler, following basic commands, not jumping up on us or our guests and just all around a much more balanced dog.Duke has gone from being a hyperactive and attention seeking doggo to a much calmer, happier and balanced dog who can follow commands.Dean was great at supporting and teaching us how we can build a stronger relationship and bond with our doggo and now we also know how to set him up for success with his training.Duke will also stay with Dean and Jules for boarding when we go away etc - Duke absolutely loves seeing Dean. We’ll also be looking at regular walk and train sessions moving forward to continue.Dean has been super flexible to cater to our hectic work life and balancing a toddler, which we really appreciate.We also had Duke stay with their family while we were moving house and we know that he is happy, safe and cared for.If you’re needing some help with your doggo, I highly recommend reaching out to the team at No Bored Dogs!

Thank you so much for training my 2 doggos to be peacefully inside the house and no longer barking at our friends and family when they come over to visit and no more pulling on the lead when taking them for a walk! So grateful I found you! They also love their new collars! :) Thank you!!

No Bored Dogs was such an amazing find for us when we moved to Townsville. Dean and Jules have been so good to Bo during his stays with them and with his regular walks. I’ve noticed sigh a big difference in how Bo walks on a lead with us and in his behaviours when passing other dogs on his walks. Thank you again!!

Dean was the perfect trainer for us.He was kind, patient and knowledgeable and rapidly built rapport and trust with both us and our young toy cavoodle Lucy.We really appreciated being able to set our own goals with him and then work towards them throughout our sessions, both in our home and out on The Strand so we could practice in different environments.We also greatly appreciated the time he took to answer our questions and consider our specific concerns regarding Lucy’s behaviours and her training.Jules was very efficient at communicating with us and it was a very no fuss process to book our sessions.We would absolutely recommend No Bored Dogs to anyone looking for a dog trainer.

My dogs are obsessed with Dean! They know every week when it's time for their walk with Dean, they start to stare out the the windows more then when he pulls up they are the most excited over ever seen them!I also use his Prime 100 treats in my dog grooming business with very positive feedback!
