Walhalla Cemetery
This was such a serene, peaceful location. Had an eerie vibe, but if you like that sort of experience , definitely worth a visit! Unique place for a cemetery and not well kept (but that adds to the historical experience) and enough pathway to be comfortable to walk through and experience the memories of the past.

Walhalla Cemetery
One of the most unique cemeteries in Australia. Established during the colonial gold rush glory days of the town, it is built into the side of a hill so many graves are above each other in terraces. A must see, a walk up a path up the hill (look out for the sign post gate on the main road below). Unfortunately due to being on a hill, not disabled friendly or elderly friendly unless on the fitter side. No direct vehicle access other than the walking path..

One of the more interesting cemeteries that you can come across. Not being a country with a log. History, every little bit counts. This cemetery is a place where you get a real understanding of what life was like many many years ago.The walk from the carpark is fairly easy but not wheelchair accessible. Set on the side of the hill, there is a nice resting place on the way up and st the cemetery.Do read some of the tombstones as they are interesting. Five girls lost to one family in a short period of time.Well worth a visit.
