The Chop Shop

Service and meat is the best quality I’ve found in Brisbane. The fellas down there have a great sense of humour and are always able to explain the best way to cook the products etc. Try the honey from there as well, it’s from a local farm and is unreal!!

We have been shopping here for a few months now and I placed my first online order yesterday for pick-up. I called the staff at the store to arrange collection for my wife, as we have a newborn baby and I'm working, and they were fantastic. They happily brought the meat out to the car. Thanks again all!

I got 2kg of baby back ribs and I was pretty much paying for bones, very little meat on them and when cooked (not exaggerating) they weren't even a mouthful. Mini chicken roasts are delicious but the fillings need to be changed per flavour, the flavour of the filling was quite odd with mango chicken and soy.

Don't listen to the bad comments. I have never had a problem with any of their staff members and can honestly say their meat quality is one of the best in Brisbane

I have been purchasing meat from the chop shop keperra for many years now. They have a great always changing selection of sausages with pretty much every variety I have tried being nice. There is a good selection of meats with some prepared ready to cook. The staff have always been very helpful in putting the orders together and the prices are reasonable. They also have a limited range of 'extra' grocery products that are always interesting to browse through and sometimes purchase.

They just lost a long time customer, whole chicken that stunk the kitchen out (had me gasping for fresh air). $10 for 2 kg of wings received 1.2 kg of wings. Would not give me a receipt when I suspected overcharging. Caught them perving on a customer through the display cabinet glass, not cool. I'm out!

Their meat is great, however since the change of staff, their customer service sucks! I went in there today, and was the only person in the shop... the 3 staff members didn't even notice I was there and continued their conversation. I gave up waiting and left..

Stopped going here years ago. If I wanted condercending comments about what I wanted to purchase and told the meat I was looking for was in front of me then I ask for it. Keep your smart comments to your selves and lable the produce clearer. Twice the owner manager has been rude and not just to me. Get a filter dude.

Placed an order online for next day pick up.Next day when repacking the meat into portions for the freezer I was a little concerned at the smell of some of it, especially the 2kg of chicken breast. I ignored my instincts and froze the portions of meat regardless, thinking I must be over sensitive.The chicken breast fillets smelled disgusting after thawing out in the fridge, obviously off. I threw it out, too scared to feed it to my dogs. My children walked in and immediately gagged at the smell.We attempted the chicken schnitzels they were tastless and to be honest I am probably still grossed out about the chicken breasts, so this may have influenced my judgement.I still have steak, pork roast and sausages in the freezer bought from the Chop Shop. Im feeling a bit hesitant about cooking it up. Hoping it will be OK.

Excellent quality and quantity. Can't remember last time we had meat this fresh. Definitely be a returning customer, will never buy Supermarket meat again. 10/10 for service and product. Keep up the good work.
