- HIGHLY RECOMMEND - My daughter describes Juli as a fun and caring teacher! After two classes Maya (11 y.o.) has learnt a number of new skills in the Graphite drawing class and enjoys every minute of her time spent at the Alfredton based art space. The room is spacious and Juli spends as much time with each child as possible. Her background in teaching and 25 years of Art experience is impressive! The lessons are well priced and Juli is very quick with replies to messages. I can see Maya attending many, many classes in the future.

I have been attending Juli's Art Classes for 12 months now and love the way she takes you through the various mediums, each building your skills along the way. Starting with graphite and charcoal then moving into pastel drawing is a great way to build drawing skills. I love watercolour and oil the best - acrylic and I dont really work so well! I look forward to Art Class each week as it is the Me Time I need. Good company is a bonus. Highly recommend for Artists at any stage.

I was looking for a hobby when I first came across Sturt St. Gallery. I had some social anxiety so I was a bit apprehensive. The atmosphere is very relaxed and even though I had no experience or artistic talent I felt comfortable. My artistic ability has grown enormously since starting and I people now actually hang my work in their homes and businesses. Juli has a unique way of reaching people. Karen

I was new in Ballarat and I found the classes for adults because of so many good comments here. I had no issue there until I asked for refund. I could not accept the latest email you sent to me. There were full of bully. I always paid for the fee without hesitation. I could not attend oil painting class which I booked earlier because my husband had car accident by hitting a kangaroo. That was unexpected and unpredictable. I accepted a part of refund and waited for six weeks, but you did not bother to give a update. You said I did not have patience. I just hope you understand that winning others' patience is based on trust and respect. I contacted you again recently as you started the new class in the early January. You mentioned you had no time to do paperwork. However, you should have done your intake paperwork for a new class. Finally, I just want to say thank you for deleting my email address in your record and I just received your refund today. I do not think I would learn anything from you in the future.

This is my second year and I have found Juli's classes to be relaxed and informative. I would recommend Stuart Street Gallery to anyone who is a newbie or wants to brush up on old skills.
