Highly recommend! We did the sunset camel ride with our 2 young kids and it was an amazing experience. We felt safe and looked after, the owner entertained us with stories about the camels and we loved the fact they took heaps of photos for us with our own phone camera rather than asking us to pay extra for photos by a photographer. Having a cold drink at the end really topped it off too! Thanks to all the team!

Cable Beach Camels - Camel Rides
Loved our sunset camel ride with Steve and the team at Sundowner Camel Tours on Thursday 16th June. Steve shared his passion for his camels with us and we loved the opportunity to experience them close up. His team took photographs for us on our own cameras and the quality was fantastic. Some very happy memories of a wonderful evening. Sundowners has had an extremely difficult time emerging from Covid, and we wish them well as they reestablish.

Had a fantastic pre-sunset" ride that lasts around 30 mins and was only $40 each Inc a soft drink or beer at the end. Started with a safety talk. Lots of staff on hand to ensure getting on and off the camels was easy. They spent a lot of time going up and downs the camel train as the walk progressed taking photos and videos with client cameras or phones so no extra expense to buy photos. A beautiful and iconic experience along Cable beach that must be done."

I loved my sunset ride along Cabel beach, its what you do when in Broome. Have to say it was uncomfortable having legs so wide apart as I suffer with arthritis in my hips. Had to find a comfy spot on the front of the saddle. The staff were informative and friendly. The sunset was magnificent . You usually have to book on line.

This is a great experience and a must do if you are in Broome. We did the sunset one hour ride for$90 each. Getting on the camels takes a while. Going down the beach there were two staff members who use your own phone to take photos. So you get a lot of really great pics. They tell you about the camels background as you travel. After you get off have a beer and a chat.

The entire team was amazing, made for a very entertaining camel ride. The camels are well looked after and treated with love. Booked ahead but wasn't essential. We took the pre-sunset one so we could also take a dip after and then have the free drink at the sunset bar and see the sunset. The bar was quickly crowded, so get in there to get a seat.

Me and my partner were going to do the camel sunset ride, only to discover the weight limit is 90kg per person. So 2 people who weigh 90kg each cannot go you actually have to have 1 person at 90kg and the other MUST be under. If you have a maximum weight per camel of 180kg 2 people at 90kg each cannot ride. Not everyone is under 90kg. I thought camel's were pack animals1 bucket list item not crossed off.

Very good. We did the last sunset 1 hour ride. It was pleasant as the sun was not very harsh. The owner does the chat about each of the camel. At the end, they gave beer/wine/cold drinks. They also took lots and lots of photos on your phone which was great. Don’t miss out on the road experience.

Sorry for late rating this experience cos I'm still traveling. I really enjoy those fanatic people who bring me such good view of broome. I believe Jimmy( Camel Name) and I have a good time that day. Especially, The Photographer-Xinxin. She is amazing. She took a lot of great photos for us which were very good memories of my tourist.
