A lovely b&b right near the centre of town. The rooms are really nice and spacious and John is super friendly and helpful!

This review is specifically for the two twin bedroom located on the ground floor.I highly recommend this place for people travelling on a budget. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone who have a problem with walking stairs.The pro: Edinburgh gallery b&b is located in the centre of Hobart. It’s really easy to access and it provides onsite parking. The breakfast is buffet style and it’s free, including local honey and local farm house jam. I highly recommend breakfast and I would give the breakfast 5 stars.The con: This B&B has shared bathroom and toilet facilities. There are two showers and two toilets shared by 9-10 rooms. The twin bedroom is located on level 1, the kitchen is located on level 2 and the bathroom/ toilets are located on level 3. Which means if you stay on level 1, every time when you want to use the toilet, you’ll be walking two levels each way. Not to mention the stairs have quite a few steps. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone having a problem climbing stairs. I would give the facilities 3 stars due to the location of the toilets.

Only about 1. 5 km from the centre of town, this delightful and charming B&B was one of the highlights of our trip. Our host, John, was accommodating and flexible making us very welcome. Although tea and coffee options were available in the room, it was more interesting to see what was happening in the well-stocked communal kitchen. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and well maintained. Lots of old-world, classic, B&B charm here. The only issue was the noisy traffic but that's one of the drawbacks of being so close to the city centre...

Lovely old mansion.Rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was included.The proprietor was very helpful and friendly. The street noise was a bit of a problem overall is all.

I stayed at Standard Suite, 1 Bedroom, Shared Bathroom on the first floor.It was on January 2023.Basically,a wonderful staying.Good neighbors(That was good luck) and well stocked kitchen food for breakfast made me happy.But I was suffered from the check in problem and had to waste 90 minutes.That was disappointing.Still the owner took care of the house well.That’s admired.

Lovely and clean rooms. The owner was really nice and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for our trip around Tasmania.

This accomodation was charming, clean, comfortable and warm. Close walking distance to Salamanca, Battery Point and city centre. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Excellent value for money. Easy check in and out, and John was very accomodating in letting us leave our bags for the day as we had a late flight out after check out.

A true bed and breakfast that doesn't disappoint. The owner, John, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, answering any question and offering great advice about Hobart. John made us feel welcome in his beauitful home that was full of charm and character. Great price and fantastic location - I'll certainly be staying again.

We loved our stay at this B&B. John was super friendly and helpful. We arrived early and we were able to leave our suitcases at the accommodation before check in. John even offered us some breakfast before we headed off. He was very knowledgeable about Hobart and provided a map. The decoration was interesting and the breakfast was great with gluten free options. It was a help yourself type deal with cereals and bread etc.

Great place and location. John is very friendly and welcoming, was a unique stayBeds were really comfortable and the place had a unique charm to it. Close to everything and free kitchen food all day long. Great value for the price, a little noisy but that's what you get in the middle of the city
