Discovery Parks - Dubbo

Our family of five just visited and had the best time. Great facilities, side food options of Indian food and beautiful coffee was an added surprise. Our glamping tent was great. The staff are lovely. I can't praise this place enough.

Such a lovely holiday park and our cabin was amazing. Very close to the zoo and a quick few mins to the local Woolworths and close to the town (few mins drive too). Our two bedroom cabin was clean, and we loved having the bbq on the verandah. We enjoyed the pool and the kids loved the little water park. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Dubbo.

We had a two night stay here. Us in our van on a long narrow site (not great in the heat when you can’t put the awning up) I think there are wider ones but we only booked about two months out and our daughter and grandchildren stayed in a cabin. The park itself is extremely well maintained and very clean. The amenities are nice. I had a great time in the pool and water park with the grandkids and they, had a heap of fun. The place is well signposted to be safe around children as I rode my bike around the whole park with my grandson. Not a worry.This park is perfect for families with children. Would I stay here again, just my husband and I? I don’t think so. Unless it’s a quick overnight stay.

Great park! Stayed at a powered ensuite site Staff are super friendly. We will be back! The pools are amazing! Could use some shade sails but still so much fun.

Was a little worried about theft given the reviews, & the warnings from staff at the park. However, we had no trouble at all & felt very safe. We stayed on an onsuite site & the bathroom was clean & modern. Extremely expensive though when comparing to parks that charge the same but are bigger, nicer, have beautiful views of a lake, beach, river or mountain etc. We did love the pool area (very clean and well maintained) and enjoyed many hours there during our 2 night stay in very hot weather.

Stayed here for two nights, would have enjoyed more time there. Reception is so welcoming and everyone who works there is so friendly. Our cabin was cleanly presented and we felt it was good value as well. We stayed here last year as well but this time we had friends stay in another cabin at the park. Makes for such a good time with the kids and a great way to do it if you have friends that were keen to join you to stay there. Cheers for a great time, see you again in the future.

We stayed in a disabled suite that we were up graded to. There was no space to put our groceries. So they needed to Stay in the shopping bags. The toilet seat did not stay up and kept falling down when my 4 YO and husband tried to use. The dishes in the cupboard were not clean and there was still breakfast cereal on the dining chairs from what I am hoping the last occupants Jesica who clean our room must of been in a big hurry as the bin still had scraps around the edges and when we empty we the bin there was fake nails at the bottom . The shower pressure was amazing but water went everywhere on the bathroom floor because the floor did not have a slope for water to drain well. My mum went to use the public toilets and the lady cleaning the toilets was very rude. When she asked if she could quickly use one of the toilets the cleaner asked if she could read the sign that said the toilet was closed for cleaning I'm assuming. The kids pool were the water slide has quit a lot of mould growing around the edge. And it was disgusting to see that the smoking area is located right next to the kids jumping pillow. Bed was comfortable the park was clean and well located.

Stayed in one of their new cabins and it was great, its got everything you need for a short or long stay.The park is close to the zoo and shops and the on-site pools/water park was a hit with my son (and me) I would definitely stay there again.

Nice accommodation. Excellent housekeeping. User friendly system of checking. However we forgot a thermos which had fallen down under the sofa. If found may be deposited with lost & found section. Will collect in the next trip as we liked it so much that will visit again. The town too is lovely with positive vibes. 32 was room number on 9/6/23
