Cooma Monaro Railway
A small railway station located in the heart of Cooma. It's a shame that it is closed now. Loved it from outside! Waiting to be back when it is open for public.

An interesting museum with displays and information on the history of the railway and how it was used as the gateway to the Snowy Mountains for visitors in its time.No trains running but they hope to start in the future.Parking for caravans.

Enjoyed the Cooma Monaro Railway. I was a junior station hand back in 81 At Shellharbour Was on the railway for 16 years . Bought back good memories doing the KERO lights in the signalsAnd getting payed by the paybus same as the one down the yard . And cleaning the levers every week with sand paper. Left in 97 was a Guard then. Thanks very much I did enjoy it.

I visited the Cooma Railway Market which is held the second Sunday of the month. Well worth visiting. Great stalls and good food.

It was closed when I passed through. But the grounds and buildings are beautifully preserved and well looked after. I would love exonerated back on an open day.

Only gave 4 stars because of no rolling stock, but there will be soon. Great station and location. Great plans for the future.
