Meat at the Mount

I absolutely LOVE the meat we get from Meat at the Mount. The quality is second to none, delivery is always on time, and the variety is amazing. I'm a pensioner, so being able to use Afterpay for my orders makes it very affordable. I will never buy meat from a supermarket again!

The concept is great! Execution, for me, has been a bit underwhelming. First delivery some of the fruit was rotten and they didn't deliver some of the items paid for. They did send a second box and apologised for the mistake which was good. Second delivery was OK but fruit went bad quickly. Third delivery was meant to come on the Friday (I had a subscription) and it was only on the Monday after when I questioned it did they realise I had paid and nothing had been sent. I received my delivery on the Wednesday and less than 5 days after my fruit is inedible (shrivelled and dry), both avocado's brown inside and cucumber mouldy. Really disappointing as it's such a great idea for a busy family. I tried to give them a go but have now cancelled the subscription.

The online ordering was easy. Delivery fantastic - notified when delivered and packed well. Meat that we have had so far has been top quality. I would (and have) recommended Meat at the Mount to friends and family.

Ordered a whole lamb was all cutt up and labeld and even did sausages with the other left overs was happy with order good service will.order again definitely got this other sorted without any troubles thanks again

The quality of our meat order was excellent, we will now order regularly, with the home delivery service. Great business with dedicated friendly staff. Being able to buy Fleurieu Milk and country free range eggs is a bonus, A++

Last year I bought over $400 worth of meat. The garlic kiev had a tiny squirt of garlic butter and it was dry, the marinated steak was gamey, crumbed lamb cutlets were full of fat. The only thing was decent was the marinated chicken steaks. I would of thought be better than this and we are still got some in the freezer. Just overall disappointed with the quality.

I received my first order today and the lady who delivered it was lovely. When I got the box inside and opened it - it smelt Ah-mazing!!!! So fresh and the quality was outstanding! I am blown away and can't wait to order again. I highly recommend their Texas BBQ sausages - so delicious!

Ordering for 1st time Delivered to door well packed nice cool. Quality of meat 1st class. The Scotch fillet is the tenderest I've had at home. Chump Chops (hard to get in supermarkets) delicious

As a person who moved from Adelaide to Melbourne a number of years ago, I found this awesome butcher when I was looking through google trying to find someone who sold Fritz. (any person who moved will know this problem)Yep, not only can they deliver bung Fritz to Melbourne they also have country fresh, highest quality meat, eggs, and other produce like fruit for prices way cheaper than city stores.Delivery into Melbourne is super fast and the meat and produce comes well packed in a refrigerated van with the thick, sturdy boxes also having icepacks inside. All quite safe, still cold and perfectly fresh when it arrives.Real quality, tasty meat, and it's likely unusual to read a recommendation for a butcher in another state, but with the ease and speed of their delivery to Melbourne, they are better than absolutely anything I can get locally, and cheaper.
