We loved our burger bar experience. Great meals. They came out super fast and delicious. Very well priced for the area. Really friendly attentive staff!

Thredbo Burger Bar
I got the plain jane with some extras and my boyfriend got the truffle shuffle and oh my god that was the best burger I’ve literally ever had. I would literally come to Thredbo just to have those burgers. Plus the onion rings were so crispy. Nothing was greasy, just super tender and juicy.

Very nice staff. Really good customer service and the food was delicious. It’s very kid friendly and deserves way more customers. My top pic would be the fire cracker because it’s very spicy and flavour full.

I would highly recommend the truffle (beef) burger! The beef patty was tender and cooked to a nice medium rare, dripping in the truffle aioli sauce. All their burgers are served on gourmet charcoal sesame buns. The skinny fries were fairly average and unseasoned - definitely order a sauce to go with it. My friend’s ordered sweet potato fries and onion rings, which were both better quality. Acidic and crisp, the dry pink lady apple cider paired nicely with the meal.One thing that my friends and I found ambiguous was the way the menu was written. It led us to believe that the side (of fries) came with the burger. Instead of sharing between 2, we all got our own pot of fries. Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish it all and that led to a lot of food waste. I wish the waiter had pointed this out to us at the start.Definitely try to book in advance if you want to dine here for a weekend dinner. While it is not a cheap meal, nothing at Thredbo is. Overall, I liked this place and I would come back ☺️

Really tasty, yum burgers, personally don't get the charcoal buns but great tasty burger. Chips were ok and Fantastic view of the river and mountain side.

We arrived into Thredbo on a Monday and the dinner options were limited. We decided the burger bar was a good option to keep it simple after a day on the road. We worked out that Monday was ‘takeaway’ only which we decided would be fine..as there are nice green lawn areas and some bench seating options nearby. We couldn’t eat at our accommodation because we were staying at the hotel and sitting in a hotel room wasn’t appeal for our family - so we needed to find a nice outdoor spot - no big deal. We walked across to the Burger Bar to discover orders needed to be made online….okay, not big deal except after a big day on the road it started to feel like a hurdle. All good we stood at their front door / menu board and used our iPhone to order. Hoping like crazy that they had an Apple Pay option because we weren’t carrying any credit cards with us. BINGO - Yes, their online ordering system is simple and Apple Pay option - perfect. Burgers were delicious, onion rings - Yum. Only disappointment was they were sold out of sprite and the only other soft drink was coke - so a bottle of water it had to be. No big deal. Very happy with our burgers, fresh and hot…a bit of a wait, nowhere to sit and wait, so a nice walk along the river while we waited to receive the ‘pickup-ready’ text message - was a good second option.

Thredbo Burger Bar
Super friendly and hospitable staff, you could clearly see the effort and care they took to make you feel at home and make sure you had everything you need. I have severe allergies and they were super helpful and on board with it! They made sure I felt safe and assured that I was able to eat delicious food that was also safe for my allergies. Lovely cozy atmosphere with pub-sized meals that was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!
