Had our EOY work dinner here and the atmosphere, view and food was unmatched! Couldn’t help but mention Campbell and Narree’s friendly service. Was a memorable night, and the dining and entertainment areas were spacious and comfortable. 5+ stars

Little hard to find initially, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the views across the valley are well worth a window seat or an out side table. The menu, ordering and payment is via a barcode on the table. The menu variety is pretty good and the service was fine. Pricing was competitive for restaurants. Some of the meals could be tweaked, but that might just be me. All in all, a good experience.And there's plenty of parking.

The most spectacular venue for not only weddings but team bonding sessions, retreats / conferences or team getaways. The owners are amazing people who are just amazing at what they do and deliver a world class service in an unforgettable location. My 3 days staying in a tiny home at the property was an experience I would easily recommend to anyone.

Been waiting for over 2 hours for our food to arrive. The owner said be patient as they were down a chef when we arrived, that was at 12.30pm but he could have brought out garlic bread or chips. We ordered lunch at 1.05pm, it's now 3.21pm and they have run out of the pork belly so now have to re-order and start again....not good enough....the qr code order system gave us the wrong table number as well....I'm beyond hungry...we went to cancel and ask for refund but they came back with our order has just been started....stuck here.

VENUE CANCELLED 8 WEEKS OUT FROM WEDDING DAYUnfortunately, our experience with Campbell and Narree was far less than favourable. My fiancé and I booked Dungowan Station in February 2022 for our wedding scheduled 5 August 2022. Eight weeks out from our wedding day we met with Campbell and Narree via phone to discuss a few logistical items, and then two days later we received an email advising that our booking had been cancelled. The overall reason provided for cancellation was that the second progress payment wasn't made in accordance with the schedule provided. The matter of the progress payment being late wasn’t brought to the table as an issue during our conversations, and a contract outlining agreed terms and conditions of hire was not provided. As such, we weren’t made aware of the specific payment terms and associated penalties to be incurred if a payment were to be missed and/or late, nor were we reminded of upcoming progress payments, a practice that is standard within the industry.The email was signed off with We will not enter into any further correspondence on this matter”. Other deciding factors for cancelling included:1. Expectations around service and dance floor location couldn't be met. We requested table service and offered to pay for additional waitstaff. This offer was denied. We also requested to have the dance floor inside given it was Winter and offered to pay for protective flooring to be put down. This offer was also denied.2. Expectation to use one of Dungowan's preferred event planners/stylists so that their business model and commercial requirements could be reiterated to the client. A list of preferred vendors was not disclosed

Outstanding views, food, accommodation and drink/beer selection.Schnitzel as big as you can find, amazing chicken sesame salad wraps and good sized lamb cutlets.This is off the beaten track, but well worth the drive - hard to book a spot, but just drive there and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Get in early

Excellent outlook from verandah, the view elevated to another level with the tap beer and food service. The drive to get there was also very enjoyable with all the rolling hills of the best offerings of this part of the wonderful world.

One star is for the great views and potential of the place, but goes downhill rapidly from there. Went for lunch on the weekend with a small group and place was mildly busy but certainly not packed.So this is how it goes- we were told that they were down a chef so the menu had been reduced to essentially basic pub meal choices. Anyway, we persevered and were told to log on via the QR to order.This turned into an absolute debacle as food came out at ad hoc times, with no sequence at all and one order didn't go through at all. Told we would get a SMS when food was ready to collect - that didn't work either, with over 2 hours from order to main arriving. Never seen anything like it.There's no doubt the money spent on converting an old shearing shed into a rustic restaurant and bar has been well done. However, the absolute fiasco of ordering food from the table without any table service is a train wreck and will only damage the business as time goes on.Hot tip for the owners- invest in some wait staff to provide table service, including taking food orders from the actual table and watch the business thrive. One bill per table at the end of service and job done. Drinks can be continued to be ordered and paid for by customers at the bar.Hope to return one day- but only when table service exists, and owners realise that the stupid concept of no wait staff is damaging their brand.
