Alegrias Spanish Tapas
Great food, great atmosphere, great fun. Flamenco Fridays at Alegrias are the best. Enjoying delicious Spanish food accompanied by good wine and entertainment. Can’t ask for a better night out.

Alegrias Spanish Tapas
An authentic family owned Spanish restaurant located in Rozelle. Dishes were quite simple and generally cooked well. The Pork Belly had a nice crisp to it, different to many other western restaurants which usually have thicker sticky skin. This one though was slightly more fatty as well. The Patatas Bravas were soft, but would have been better if it was more crispy. Flavour wise, it was on point. The highly was the cheese and guava filled Empanadas. Nice sweetness and texture. Better than the chicken and beef. On the other end, the fried potatoes with iberico and mash, was a bit off (the mash felt like it was overmashed - weird texture)and the olives were too salty. Service was also a bit off. We wanted to order a dessert, but the menu never came. It was also difficult to get someone to assist us, after we did our initial order. The table I was placed on, the corner window frames were quite dusty as well (needed a good wipe). However, overall a nice and relaxing vibe and the manager was friendly. Gave it 4 stars more because of the effort. Hope to see more improvements in the future.

First time visiting this restaurant and really enjoyed our time as a family! Very friendly and speedy service as well as pleasant ambience.Best dishes were the squid ink paella and calamari tapas. The staff were highly attentive overall.In terms of tapas, I have had better tapas in terms of taste and portion in Sydney hence not 5 stars.

Making the booking was very easy, the service was exceptional..! The food was very well prepared. The ambiance was ideal. The Meals were good value for money.. The Sangria was very well made.. cleanliness was very good.. very friendly and attentive service personal… I highly recommend this restaurant.. you won’t be disappointed..!

Alegrias Spanish Tapas
We recently had the loveliest dinner here with friends. The food was amazing, we went with the tapas and all of it was fantastic. Two standout dishes were the muscles in spicy tomato sauce & croquetas de jamon! The staff were friendly and efficient. The chef even wandered by to check everything was ok! We will certainly be back soon!

Came for the all you can eat tapas. There were about 13 menu items to choose but we only could muster 7. There were 5 of us and they gave us two servings of each. If we just had one of each we could have had a chance to try a few other dishes. The food was fabulous and friendly staff. They also had a jugs of sangria for $25.

Alegrias Spanish Tapas
21st April 2023 - Such a fantastic night of food and fun. Walking into the restaurant and there was some Flamenco dancing being performed just prior to our seating with another performance later on in the evening that permitted some interaction with the crowd. The food was delicious with a wide selection of Spanish Specialty dishes. Every single staff member encountered was so pleasant and accommodating for our large group we had here on this evening.

Alegrias Spanish Tapas
Fantastic food! Incredible value, especially the all you can eat Tapas. We will be back. Staff could potentially be slightly more attentive but overall a good idea experience.
