Reka is an incredible swimming teacher and my son (age 4) has absolutely thrived in the pool after having lessons with her. One on one lessons is the best thing we have done and it is such a pleasure seeing Reka's smiling face and seeing her complete competence as a teacher combined with a nurturing and warm spirit with my son. She has increased his confidence so much. Highly recommend andI look forward to starting my 1 year old daughter with her soon as well

My two kids, 5 and 2, have weekly lessons with Reka and they absolutely enjoy it! She is patient with them and tailors her teaching to suit their character and even on the particular lesson day. Kids at such a young age can feel/behave differently at different times and Reka skillfully adapts during the lesson to still capture their attention and focus. All while still managing to have a laugh with them and keeping it fun :). I must also say she has been very accommodating to our at times frequent schedule changes when we give her notice. She is always early, and kindly waits whenever I tell her we are running late! (Which happens more often that I'd like, so a big thank you for being so understanding!) My kids have been swimming with her for over a year and we wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone.

Reka is a phenomenal swim instructor. Not only is she very knowledgeable on the various skills she is patient and informative in demonstrating them. I could not recommend her highly enough no matter what your age or skill level, she will no doubt deliver great results.

Reka is the best swimming teacher we've had! We are so happy with the service she provided and the improvement the boys made in one short week with her. She was able to pickup the current skill level for each of our boys and had the experience to know the best way to help them advance in their own way. Reka was always very patient, she never pushed the boys past their limits and would always remind them about safety skills to help when they start to tire in the water. Before meeting Reka our boys were not confident enough to play and have fun in the water. Now we have boys who love enjoying the pool without fear. Would not hesitate to recommend Reka and will book some follow up lessons with her in future. Thank you Reka for all your wonderful help :)

In a short 5 sessions with Reka our 3yo has grown so confident in the water. I noticed a difference from day 2. She is kind but strong in her teachings and you can tell she has a world of knowledge in the pool with little ones. We felt very safe with her and so did Florence. Reka is a very competent swimming teacher that will bring out the best in you.Although I was already a very good swimmer, training with Reka helped me tweak my technique and prepare me for national swimming competitions.

I had a great experience with Reka learning how to swim for the first time as an adult. I went from being afraid of the water to making it through a few laps! But most importantly, she helped me build confidence and Im definitely more comfortable in the water. Would definitely recommend to anyone hoping to improve their technique at any level!

I took one lesson with Reka initially and I immediately signed up for 10 more. Reka can identify your mistakes easily and explains what you need to do to improve and make adjustments. I Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. My swimming has greatly improved.

I've tried the group swimming classes for adults before but learning to swim in a group environment didn't produce any results - everyone was at diff levels and the instructor didn't have the time to focus on individuals enough. So I decided to find a private instructor who can assist me gain more confidence in the water. Reka was fantastic! She is patient and understands where my obstacles were and we over came them together. Would recommend Reka to any adult looking who wants to learn how to swim. It's never too late!

I strongly recommend A1 Swimming Academy. I wanted to properly learn how to swim freestyle and to start ocean swimming. Within 6 months, Reka enabled me to learn the technique. I am now very proud to say that I even swim across the bay near my house, which was one of my objective when I started learning with Reka. On top of it, she makes the lesson very enjoyable, she is a very nice approachable person. I am loving going to my class every week. Thank you so much!
