St Peters Bakehouse & Coffee Shop

Great spot in St Peters. Big selection of cakes, pies and pasties. Seating indoor and outdoor. Friendly staff and reasonable prices too. We came in towards closing and the staff kindly included some donuts for free, so nice. Recommended!

I live local so I’ve come in here on and off for years. I came in today and noticed they have removed prices off everything. I purchased a tiny tray of sausage rolls which ended up costing $15. I think they know their prices have become unreasonable and people aren’t going to ask the price of every item so will just pay.I also ordered a coffee which took the person on coffees 15 minutes to make even though she only had 3 to do in that time. It had a very very strange taste. No idea if she mixed it up with a chai but it certainly wasn’t an ordinary coffee.Live and learn, I won’t be back. Particularly because you can go 2 mins to Walkerville and get nicer coffee.

Great place for Saturday breakfast with a large range of pies, pasties, sausage rolls and a massive variety of cakes to enjoy. I must also add that they make an EXCELLENT coffee and this has been over several Saturday mornings.

This is the kind of place that brings a certain 'Wow' to the neighbourhood ! Located in the beautiful leafy suburb of St Peters, this cafe bakery is in a wonderfully restored double shop with indoor and outdoor tables and it's own off street parking.When we arrived mid morning service was just transitioning from brisk to busy.Obviously the locals know how good this place is - everything is superbly made and beautifully presented, including the coffee. Don't come here if you're dieting, however, if you're looking for somewhere to treat yourself and a friend this is definitely the place.

I'm a long time patron, and have visited their Grange Bakehouse before it closed (sadly) and Thebarton...They're always busy, and have loyal customers and the food is nice and good coffee..If I'm there early, I just eat off the boot of my car instead of sitting at the table's provided..They've lasted this long because it's a worthwhile Bakehouse to visit.

Usually a good experience but the Schnitzel wrap was dry and flavourless this time. The Steak and Cheese pie was very tasty but the lid wasn't joined properly and cheesey meat poured out the back and sides and was hard to eat.

A great place to visit. I had a wonderful hot chocolate and cream vanilla slice. Excellent quality and great service even though it was incredibly busy.

The chicken and turkey sándwich are very yummy, very fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is busy because it's a well established business. I wanted to give them a 5 star review since the moment I arrived when I first saw the huge variety of things they sell, but when my sandwiches where delivered, I had nowhere to seat, there were 3 free tables but no chairs, however I asked for a spare chair to one of the workers but she said they don't have more. I had to start eating standing because they didn't have enough chairs. Then, we found one half way through our lunch. The buzzer for the coffee never buzzed, I had to go and asked what happened to my coffees and the barista gave them to me cold, they're ready long ago. Definitely it's a good place for the food, but needs more chairs and buzzers.
