The house is extremely run down and was very unclean - there was mould on key furnishings inside and outside the house, significant cockroach smells in kitchen and on crockery, and quite a large family of them living under the kitchen sink. It is also not suitable for old dogs that have trouble with stairs. I scrubbed the shower myself. The BBQ did not work and only one hot plate seemed to heat up. We advised the host within 1 hour of arrival with no response for two days. We left after one night - would have left earlier but had no way off the island and did not know where to start searching for another pet-friendly place. AirBnB and the host have charged me $491...for the one night we stayed and because 'somebody has to pay for the cleaner and linen'. Here are just a few of the photos.

Great holiday house for a good week away from every day life on the main land and it's dog friendly. The beach is located in a nearby location ( walking distance) from the house and the local shop and fish and chips are available in the same area with a Post Office available.The home is located on a large hill and has a spacious living room and has sleeping arrangements for over ten people. Get out and about the island in the car or 4X4 and you will have a chance to get around at your own leisure.The house is well presented spacious beautifully presented with CDs DVDs Blu rays for the whole family TV to watch them on and TV reception,there's Wifi provided to the house and there is also a BBQ on the back verandah. The kitchen is stocked with great crockery and cutlery, but you may want to bring a couple of extra specialty sharp knives.Bring your own vehicle to get around the island with ease and comfort and at your own time, as well as your snorkeling gearThe snorkeling at Amity Point is fantastic by the boat ramp heading away from the campground around the rockwall, however be cautious about entering the water due to the algae on the ground at the waterfront.There's also a skatepark for the kids not too far away as well as a bar and bistro a bowls club tennis courts for hire and there is even a golf club on the island.
