Bumps, Birth & Beyond Ballina

I attended pregnancy classes with Fiona which were very accomodating to my pregnant self. Prenatal yoga was so good and there is always tea and yummy snacks. It was also amazing to socialise with other pregnant women and chat similarities and experiences so far.We also completed our hypnobirthing course with Fiona which immensely helped my partner and I during my labour and birth. Fiona was very knowledgeable throughout the course and accommodated us well. She gave us such thorough insight into it all and we used what we learnt during labour and birth as much as we could. I very highly recommended Fiona and her services to anyone prenatal, postnatal and everything in between- she is amazing!

Fiona was the perfect support to welcome the birth of my beautiful baby girl.I had a home birth and wanted to be prepared as possible for that choice - I needed someone that could help maintain a peaceful space, nurture me and help support my partner.Fiona helped me work through all my fears around birth. I was feeling very confident leading up to my birth and during my birth.I attended her pregnancy group weekly which I also found invaluable and kept me very connected to my pregnancy.We had a very quick birth so we were grateful Fiona lived so close as the midwives didn’t make it in time for birth -she was our only support there.We had to transfer and Fiona stayed home to clean the home and birth space.Post partum support was also so nurturing and exactly what I was wanting. A sage space to debrief the birth and how I felt, have some lovely meals delivered and just someone to recognise that I was doing great!!We also did hypnobirthing with Fiona which definitely expanded my knowledge and understanding of birth!I would highly recommend Fiona as a Doula and couldn’t imagine a birth without a doula. I had my dream birth with her wisdom and support!

From before i conceived my baby I knew I wanted a doula at my birth for additional support, it was just finding the right one! I can definitely say Fiona was the perfect fit for our family. Fiona was my birth and post partum doula and her extensive knowledge of birth and postpartum allowed both myself and my husband to enter birth feeling educated, safe and prepared for however birth may unfolded. From our first few meetings I felt safe to be open and be vulnerable with Fiona about my fears and anxieties around birth and she held space for me and helped me work through each and every one with no judgement of bias. I truly believe I would not have achieved the birth I did and be able to tell my beautiful birth story without her.

Fiona is amazing, I did a birthing class with Fiona that both my partner and I throughly enjoyed it. The skills and information I learned truely helped my birthing expirence. I would recommend Fiona and her services without hesitation.

I had been given Fiona’s name from a few friends that had spoken very highly of her and recommended her to me and my partner for the birth of our first child. I chose the online course and the 90 minute session. Fiona came to our house and was warm and friendly, her session was amazing and I feel so much more confident/ relaxed about birth after her visit.I would highly recommend Fiona to anyone that is expecting, even if it’s not your first birth. Fiona is an amazing doula. From our first meeting I felt very supported and I immediately felt more relaxed about my upcoming birth. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience and her advice was very helpful. She was super supportive of my birth choices and gave me the courage and peace of mind that I needed to have an amazing birth experience. We were lucky enough to meet Fiona quite early in my pregnancy. We immediately loved her calm and nurturing energy and the fact that she never voiced any opinions of her own, she gave advice and evidence to allow us to make our own choices with no judgement, only support. We did the hypnobirthing course with her which was incredible and so informative, especially for my partner. Fiona was a constant support through my whole pregnancy (being my first baby, it often felt overwhelming) and after my baby was born. I always felt held, heard and seen when speaking to her. I will be forever grateful to Fiona for her support and love through this huge transformation.
