We had a great stay and highly recommend to anyone travelling to Bright. Everything you needed was there plus more. A really good set up.We really appreciated Paul topping up the fire wood box.

A beautiful Canadian style log hut situated in Porpunka. A stream suitable for fly fishing out the back at walking distance. Pub and cafe 5 minutes walk from the front. Arrange continental breakfast through reception atleast 24 hrs prior to arrival. Don't forget to visit Bright, Beechworth, Mt Buffalo and the many wineries nearby.

Had a wonderful and relaxing couple of nights at Tewksbury Lodge. Fantastic Canadian Log Cabin!!! Wish I had one at home.....can I take it with me ;-).Claudia and Paul have meticulously kept a very high standard of accommodation, and have thought of everything you may need to keep your holiday a comfortable one. Would highly recommend to anyone holidaying, or traveling through Victoria's Alpine's region, to stay at Tewksbury Lodge.Thank you Claudia and Paul, we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

It was a wonderfully relaxing place to unwind.Paul and Claudia were very hospitable and helpful.Having the river access out back was great for fishing excursions. The cabin has a certain warmth and the gardens are so easy on the eye.There were two beds, one soft the other firm, we prefer the firm one, but it’s a matter of personal taste.The complimentary bikes were handy to get about on, but the seats are a bit on the hard side making longer journeys uncomfortable. I guess if someone is into long trips they’d probably bring their fancy bikes.Overall a very pleasant place to stay. Hoping to go back sometime in the future.

Stayed here last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and well maintained property, everything we needed was all there with the fully equipped kitchen, bathroom accessories & other useful supplies.We could not thank Paul & Claudia enough for their amazing hospitality and all that they provided to ensure we had a comfortable stay, which we did!We will most definitely be back again.
