NOT HALAL anymore.I drove about 1 hour away to buy seafood lunch from this place.. thinking it is all still halal friendly... however.. asked again and found out it is not halal anymore!!A BIG Shame to see the new Muslim" owners have non-halal food items (such as pig meat) in store just to keep the business "going".Although.. I do appreciate his honesty.. but not worth it

All I can say is WOW! I HAVE NOT HAD BETTER FISH AND CHIPS ANYWHERE ELSE IN MY ENTIRE 29 YEARS OF EXISTENCE".My partner and I decided on this cold rainy day after coming back from being out for the day that fish and chips would be the way to go. I whipped out Google Maps

Really good. We had the fish burger with chips. The chips were really good classic old school chip take away chips. Crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle with the perfect amount of chicken salt. The fish burger was also really good. The fish was fresh and not strong in smell or flavour a really great piece of cod. The burger itself was awesome reminded me of when I lived at the beach. The best bit the price. It's really good on pricing. Burger was only 9.50 on its own and with chips 10.80.

very delicious food and the chips were amazing. there is new owner who is very kind and sweet. and price is worth to spend money on food.will definitely go there next time.

Seems like a 1 man show (maybe has helper during the peak time - I showed up about 8:30 pm). Good if you need fish and chips after 8pm and are on the southside. At least 4 spots out the front on busy Ipswich road. It is on the inbound side a bit past some lights. Jammed between an adult shop, real estate, orthodontist and a massage place. Just look for the adult shop and you'll find it.He has eftpos available (some phone app with the reader being on the table).Attached photo is what you get for $10 (cod & chips) - as of the 7/11/2022

I ordered Crumbed cod and chips. And all though, The chips didn't seem seasoned and I had to season them myself, The cod was really good and tasted fresh and was delicious. The price was worth what I ordered and will order again.Overall: if you're looking for good, tasty fish, I do definitely.Would've given it 5 stars if the chips were seasoned well.

My partner and I have been coming to this joint since we moved to Annerley towards the end of 2021 and it’s our favourite spot! We came every Sunday to get a pack for two for our movie nights and the owner was a lovely man who was so generous and kind. The shop closed recently so we were devastated but now there are new owners and the menu remained the same and we were so excited to see it open so we hopped in tonight and grabbed our usual.The new owner was so kind and welcoming! Of course the food was absolutely delicious so we will definitely be going back every week again!

The best calamari I've ever had every single time I come here. I visit this place whenever we visiting Brisbane, great value with big meals but the taste is the most important! Love it and had to support this place

Made the mistake my placing a 20% increase $$ order through Menulog.Allowed 20 minutes before picking up 1 meal and 1 fish -- had to wait an extra 15 mins as they did not start cooking until we arrived (I could see our order slip was printed and only 1 other diner).Received the food and our fish was textured of rubber with the chips unseasoned.The reviews have stumped me as it seems others have had a good experience?Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
