George is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. The Deer Farm Pinot Noir and the Sauvignon Blanc are to die for. The Reserve Pinot Noir is also very good.

Coldstream Hills Cellar Door
After we had lunch at Meletos, we had Pinot Gris and we all liked. We found out the cellar was very close, so drove here to buy some bottles. However the service was not good. He’s not welcoming and just explained the wine we had was not available. That’s all. I expected he gave some alternatives or some talks but he’s not friendly so we just left.

Coldstream Hills Cellar Door
They have beautiful and different types of chardonnay and pinot noir. During our tasting George was looking after us, he is extremely knowledgeable and good at telling all the stories around yarra valley and winery. If you are not into wines I can still advice to go for tasting and listening about wines and yarra valley from George, thank you!

Excellent high-end Pinots and Chardonnays with many other delicious wines made as well...as it should be considering its founding roots from James Halliday who still lives on the property.

Went there for a wine tasting, an amazing experience. We had the luck of being served by Roland, but the entire staff was very kind and amazing. Highly appreciated and recommended. Will definitely be back, hopefully will find Roland again!

We had a tasting here today and it was wonderful. Simon was incredible, so knowledgeable and accommodating. He was working solo and lots of unannounced guests turned up which he not only a accommodated but he was calm and attentive despite this! Couldn’t recommend more!

Coldstream Hills Cellar Door
Coldstream Hills is a famous label with James Halliday establishing here in the mid 80's. A champion of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with Andrew Fleming as the current winemaker, they continue to build it's reputation with these two varietals. A relatively small cellar door, offering cheese platters only, you focus on the wines and some nice views of the valley from the deck.
