Old MacDonald's Child Care

My son has been the child care centre since April last year. The educators there are very friendly and caring. They provide organic food that the teachers and kids were planting and gardening together. He learnt how to take care of animals by feeding and touching them. He love touring the farm on the trolley. The centre is big and clean, so the kids have enough space to play and enjoy the activities.

We have been a family at this service for the past 4+ years. Both of my children have loved attending and both settled in quickly from a young age (1). The staff are all caring and welcoming and the service is always kept clean. We love the animals as well and we love that we can go over to the fence to pat the animals as we come to or leave the service and the children have always loved the tractor rides. Highly recommend to anyone looking for care for their child.

Old macdonald child care is like no other child care my daughter loves every minute shes there. All the staff are lovely and always happy to help with any questions you have.To have a farm experience including tractor rides are amazing. They also have a veggie patch and have their meals cooked for them which the products come from the veggie patch and are all very healthy smelling the meals being prepared makes me want to stay for lunch.I would highly recommended this school to anyone.

I live in Penrith where I have so many child care centres on my doorstep, but choose to drive to Old MacDonald's for my daughters care.Old MacDonald's is by far the best centre you can send your child to! All the staff are caring, polite, love the children so much and have outstanding qualifications. Old MacDonald's take such pride to ensure that the best staff are hired to care for the children, with more places in classes only offered when they find the perfect staff.The facilities are (in my opinion) the best in Sydney. Always spotless (regardless of the time of day you arrive), meals are fresh and healthy and the farm provides an experience for the children that no other centres offer. Just yesterday a baby lamb was born and my daughter and I watched it take its first steps! The children are taken out to the farm regularly to feed the animals and the play area also has fresh produce growing and chickens laying eggs that the children can collect.Its a Child Care centre like no other!

Beautiful service for so many reasons! Aesthetically it is absolutely gorgeous with the farm animals, it is well resourced and the educators are so lovely, helpful and supportive of our busy family. My daughter who is now in primary school still talks positively about experiences she had there. My son who is still in attendance is flourishing there. Worth the extra travel for them to be able to have this as their preschool experience.

My daughter absolutely adores going to Old MacDonald Childcare. It is so satisfying seeing her happy face at pick up as well as drop off.Thank you to the fabulous staff for being so nurturing, approachable and professional. The hard work they put into policy making, programming and documenting my child's learning is very much appreciated. Being a school teacher, my expectations are high and I have never once doubted that my daughter is in the best care.The farm environment is fun, stimulating, and blessed with wide-open spaces and the fact that my daughter can interact with animals is just the icing on the cake.Overall fantastic centre and I am so glad I found it!

We love our Daycare - My Daughter is always happy to go in the mornings and the teachers in her class are caring and friendly. The other kids are always excited to see us when we arrive, which is a nice feeling when you are dropping off your baby to spend the day somewhere. The set up of the centre is clean, safe, modern and really fun with the animals on site. They use an app which is updated frequently with photos of the day and a report once a week about what our child has learnt. The owner is hands on and is always there to greet us of a morning. The fees are fair with public holidays and nappies, formula (to a certain level) and food for the day are covered! This makes life as a new parent so easy. I am really happy with the decision we made to send our daughter here.

Both my daughters go here. The way they take care of the kids and help them develop is amazing! They learn all the basics they need before starting school. The open play areas and large rooms are an added bonus as the kids imaginations just run wild. My eldest starts school this year and already knows the alphabet, learned about fire safety, sea creatures and more. They really gave her a great start to her education. Monitoring your kids is easy as they have all the information available through their web portal like eating and sleeping habits. Each carer personally sees to the kids and writes reports for the parents. Mark and Belinda have built an amazing daycare. It will be impossible to even think about sending them to another daycare that could even match this.

I don't normally do things like this but I read Tegan's one star 1 review and felt the need to come on here and completely rebutt everything she said. She must be either completely self-entitled, or at best, mistaken. This place is amazing. I don't know what she is on about. Old MacDonald's owner Mark is an amazing guy and runs a fantastic centre. Everything about this centre is done with quality and thoughtfulness and no expenses have been spared. My daughter has been at this daycare for 2 years and we are holding her back from school a little longer than we have to because this place is so great. The facilities, educators and directors and all top notch. Daily diary of everything your kid gets up to in class all available via an app including photos. The kids learn about nature and sustainability and spend heaps of time in a superbly landscaped, massive play area complete with sand pits, grassy areas, bridges, play equipment, herb gardens, chicken coops, you name it. The kids even go on tractor rides with a specially designed tractor trailer and get to pet the baby animals that are always at the place. How many day care centres actually have a full-time groundsman for God's sake!?! Our soon-to-be-born son will be going on the waitlist the day he is born. See this place for yourself and make up your own mind. We love Old McDonald's child care.
