Shun Hin Chinese Restaurant

I have not had nice Chinese cuisine for awhile. This is my favourite new place. Food is tasty and we will come back to try other dishes and the lunchtime time sum.

Ordered take away for half of free range chicken. Went back home and open it up, it was mostly bones pieces with zero chicken breast. Went back for a refund and got advice from the lady manager that’s how free range chicken are like. Got my refund and told me rather feed the food to dog then serving us again, she told us never come back and I’ll surly do that. She basically personal attacked me but I didn’t want to waste more time with her. Just stay away from this place.

We ordered some take away from Shun Hin and found that Stir-fry beef flat noodle is quite tasty, the tofu soup is not bad either however the satay chicken is quite light not as good as expected.

A good night for goose! Shun Hin on Beaufort Street in Bedford is now on the radar thanks to a good friend’s recommendation. You can order pigeon and goose 24 hrs ahead, both stands outs amongst wild rice clay pot and vermicelli prawns.It’s disappointing to see the ridiculous reviews commenting on price and food items.If you are after AUTHENTIC Chinese cuisine and happy to pay for quality, this restaurant is for you!

they got several unique Chinese cuisines which are worth to try.free range steamed chicken, it tastes really different and flavorfulroasted goose, hard to find in Perth, pre-order required, tastes richer and juicier than ducks

Environment: a few carparks at rear or park at street nearby. Have a small Alfresco dining area. Decorating in rustic Antique Chinese Village style. Rather packed. Reservation is highly recommended. --- 7.3/10Service: understaffed at last visit. Slightly chaotic at first. Served food fast. --- 6.7/10Food: normal presentation. Normal portion. Acceptable price. Slightly thirsty after dinner.- Jubilee &Goji berries Tea, (? $2.5pp): served in transparent teapots. Need to ask them to refill water.- Fried Wild Rice in Hot Pot, $19.8: Normal portion. Nice. --- 7.6/10- Mixed Seafood Tofu,$28.9: cooked Red Emperior Fillet, scallops and king prawns with Tofu in a Hot Stone Pot. Smaller portions 2-3 pcs of each elements. --- 7.5/10- Roast Goose $108. Pre-ordered, but not come first. The goose was pretty small and not fatty. Skin was not really crispy. ---7.2/10.- Chinese Free Range Chicken,$ 60.8/whole: not bad. Not much fat and meat as free range. Still glossy and tender. --- 7.4/10- Sweet & Sour Strawberry Pork, $19.8: small bite size meat was tender. Good portion of pork. --- 8.2/10- King/Tiger prawns (no shell) with Vermicelli, $29.8: good portion of shelled prawns (~6pcs). Not much sauce left in the claypot. Vermicelli was slightly stick together --- 8/10Stewed Beef Brisket, $23.8: tender. Normal portion. Taste Ok. --- 7.6/10Fried Kailan $16.8++: not in the menu, requested to fry with dried preserved pork (臘肉lap yuk), small portion. --- 7.4/10

Very unique interior design, but a little bit squeezy. Food is tasty and portion size is fair for the price. The fried wild rice in hot pot is highly recommended when you dine in. Home made tofu with mushroom is also very tasty.

enjoyed all three dishes that we ordered. Portion was good and was fairly priced. Service was prompt. Restaurant was fairly new in the interior and the vibe was welcoming

As a native Chinese dude, my advice is:Never come to this place. This place is an absolute embarrassment.Nasty environment flys everywhere, ill-mannered waiters who never response.Their “full size Beijing roasted duck” is not enough to server one person. And it is not even close to be authentic.Another disaster is the vegetable dish, the cooking technique was soso while vege was hard as rock.This is the last Chinese restaurant you want to come in Perth. I’d rather go to McDonald’s. This is trash.
