HAWKES BOATYARD
Possibly the worst boatyard I have ever visited. We experienced a breakdown that required haul-out. Hawkes kept us waiting a week, even though no work was going on in the yard and there was ample room for us. They hauled us out on a Friday, charged exuberant fees, then when the repairs were complete kept us waiting days before putting us in the water. They knew we needed to get back to Brisbane but didn't care.
