The sales manager was so busy to turn down a hundred million business, a simply no is much better than keep me waiting for weeks. I'm a sales as well so worried you have sales like this working in your business. Good luck with your business.

We have been buying meat from Hardwicks for many years. Quality was always very good - not so the last few times - the steak has been almost inedible. Also disgusted re Halal slaughter. We will not be going back.

Am a person who actually buys from here and am truly impressed with the quality of their meat. Couldn't understand why so many people had given them a one star rating. It is an anti halal campaign and nothing to do with the quality of their meat product.

I have been buying meat here for years, generally it has been great meat at good prices, however my most recent buy up has proved terrible !! Two pieces of premium rump at 5kg each were quite clearly off☹, had to be thrown out......the worst thing was we had guests to feed and the meat stunk bad, very embarrassing and not a situation a host ever wants to be in!!! When I contacted Hardwicks to explain what had happened I waited three weeks for a reply only to be told that returns have to be made within seven days with a valid receipt, which for me is ridiculous as I live 45mins away and do a six monthly buy up!! I ended up phoning Glen the wholesale manager who basically said they have to see the meat before they will believe me that is was off...,...well my meat was well and truly at the tip so thanks for nothing☹, he did say to ask for him next time I come into the shop and he may be able to do something for me but he was making no promises.....and seriously why would I bother going back there anyway? Hardwicks have lost a good customer, not to mention the fact a lot of my friends and family as well as I will certainly be telling them of my experience! Ironically on their website it states The reputation of the Hardwicks name means we take extensive steps to ensure a consistent quality to all our customers whether they are large wholesalers

Wouldn’t recommend anybody working at this company and this is coming from experience!!!they treat you like a nobody when things don’t go their way they don’t like it if you take a day off when you were sick and you have medical certificates they do not like it I was told that I wasn’t a good fit for this company and they let me go after 7 months of working there!!three days later they called me back asking me to work in a different area of this company this company does not know whether they’re going or coming would not recommend anyone to work here and Not only that they work their workers into the ground they do not pay their workers properly and overtime is not paid properly they expect you to do the work next to nothing.

Don't pinnish Hardwicks for following Halal slaughter protocol, it's not their call it's what Halal requires, i don't shop for Halal but bought from them for 20 years, tried other outlets and none compare, impecable quality meat at great prices along with very helpful friendly staff. I suggest if all green vegans retracted their rating as they aren't clients but activists then Hardwicks would have a 5 star rating!

Great customer service. Great quality meat and fairly priced. It is the best factory outlet I have ever shopped at. The range and price at Hardwicks is unlike anywhere I have ever seen. If you like meat and have not made the trip to Hardwicks you should. The cryovac meat will last a few weeks unopened in the fridge. Driving 100 Kms to get there is definitely worth it
