Waratah Hills Vineyard

Was a recommendation from a frequent traveller in the area! The place had been shut through most of the lockdown period and had changed owner ship as well, very near and spacious and quite a few options to choose from considering it was their first day back open and limited options of the menu.. did the wine tasting and it was just a wonderful day to sit back and relax with a few mates and soak in a different experience !

Lovely setting with rolling hills, plenty of room for kids and dogs to chill outside. Shared and individual tables inside, plus a covered patio area.Food selection is simple and perfect to accompany local wines. Recommend the Pinot noir and the Picnic Red!

Lovely place and amazing valeu for money! The wine is delicious, I got a bottle for lunch as well as a cheese board.I was by myself and the owner/manager went out of his way to make a cheese board to fit one person and it was a very generous one as you can see on the photos.The view was also fantastic, it was a perfect stop after a hiking day at Wilson’s prom. I will be coming back there next time I’m in the region.

Really nice spot for a drink and meal. The staff were all very very friendly and welcoming. I wasn't a great fan of the beef koftas and chicken wings as I found these were quite average, the fries were spot on, and the ice cream was delish. The venue had a beautiful indoor space, covered outdoor space, and outdoor space! It also has this beautiful picnic seating area on the grass. Really covers all seating areas one could have!

Sat on the lawn with a grazing board & some hot chippies. Of course a glass of wine. Views are amazing. Jimmy is a legend!

This is one of my hidden gems in south Gippsland. I love this place and love their wine. Their wines are amazing,especially Pinot noir! All the staff are very friendly with warm welcome. They use not only South Gippsland local produce but also their garden vegetables. Spending weekend afternoon at this vineyard is very relaxing. Highly recommended. :)

What a fantastic experience, amazing staff at the cellar to start the visit, ensure you do the wine tasting!Moved out onto the lawn overlooking the vineyard, beautiful seasonal menu, we choose the Red lentil soup (don't be deceived, it's a hearty meal!) Beef stew and grilled halloumi. The food was amazing!King Lenny, the beautiful dog, was an added delight.Couldn't help but take a cheeky bottle of Blanc de blanc home! Can't wait for the next visit.

What beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere! Waratah Hills Vineyard has indoor and fresh air outdoor dinning. They also have picnic rugs to take out on the grass for a picnic. All the staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I had the Rose which perfectly complimented the share cheese platter. There is a great selection of wines from their vineyard and also a pinot infused gin. #glutenfree cracker options
