Browns Plains Hotel
Just had lunch. Haven't been there for quite sometime. Very disappointing and won't be back. Very over priced. Had fish and chips. Chips were cold and soggy. Fish luke warm and batter soggy. Considering ordered right on opening time shows food kept warm in hot box and not cooked fresh. Expected better than that especially Considering the price.

Worst experience I've had at a bar in the pokie room. Appears to be in the final stages of renovations. The only time I've ever felt unwelcome at a pub.. and check how many I've reviewed. Gets 2 stars for cleanliness and modern venue. I'm sure when this place is properly up and running it will be a great venue but I can only review on my experience and that wasn't great. Was confusing straight of the bat upon arrival. Couldn't determine who were staff and who were customers and who were there doing work. A large group of people were standing around in pokie bar service area that seemed to be having a meeting. I guess it was venue management and tradies. It was hard to tell. They certainly weren't gambling. Just getting in the way and making things confusing and uncomfortable. Parking was a nightmare as well.. there seems to be a lot of handicap parking spaces and a lot of 1st choice liquor (next door) assigned spaces. And a lot taken up by trades there doing work I guess. Entered through sports bar.. which I would rate 4stars by itself but alas it's dragged down by the pokie room fiasco. In my opinion if your renovating stay closed until complete.. small area near pool tables was still being renovated in sports bar. I'd like to give this place another go but it's 2 from 2 bad experiences for me and it will be a long time before I go back. Previous bad experience was delivery food during covid which was terrible. Was given credit which I didn't end up using. This place could be great but I can only review on my experiences which have both been bad

The venue was a buzz tonight.Had linguine pasta and pumpkin salad. Very tasty.Will be back

Used to frequent for dinner but last few months food quality has declined. My wife had the gnocci, which is generally good. This time it was awful, and when mentioned we were told that's a shame " won't be going anymore"

We had a work lunch here last week. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were happy and looked fter. The food was reasonably priced and great tasting!

Great food. My steak was cooked to perfection. Great service from all the friendly staff in the restaurant. Massive spacious dinning area. Plenty of room to move around especially if your hot the kids. Able to accommodate large tables of people.

Booked a table last night for my sons and nieces birthday dinner. Most of the night we were served by a lovely young Lady named Mary, she was very friendly and helpful. Meals were a bit over priced but tasted good. The dinner special was a big serve and well worth the price.

We done a 4 night stay and the house keepers were on the only positive side during our stay here. We had multiple FALSE COMPLAINTS against us. There was no reconciliation. We as a large group with mixed entities felt targeted.

Came in for a quick bite. Butter Chicken, Steak & Burrito. Fantastic 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I also see you're updating the restaurant in the coming weeks. If what we had today is anything to go by, we'll definitely be back. Can't wait.

To me it is a amazing always the staff are all ways nice to me the food is good no problem there love the karaoke is always great, great sound would love to see more singers come so we can keep our karaoke Lionel Gardner
