Tones Solar & Electrical

Poor communication, organisation and not competitive on price. They also broke my cooktop when taking it out to repair it. They charged me for the repair and also to replace it after the technician damaged it. They charged me for parts used on the repair that were then taken back with them when they replaced the unit. All in all I've had three poor experiences with this company.[Edit: the manager called and was sincere in trying to rectify the situation. None the less, the work on the latest job I had them out for was not able to be completed by the required date.]

Recently my parents had issues with inside light globes blowing and circuits tripping at the switchboard. After much methodical and thorough checking, Blair isolated the problem to a garden light which needed replacing. He replaced several globes and ensured the wiring of the garden light was safe and completely watertight whilst we purchased a new one. He also volunteered his number in case we had any queries about fitting whilst purchasing. When we had the new light, Blair returned and fitted it. Extremely hard-working and very pleasant to deal with, Blair would be very welcome to return should we need any more electrical work taken care of.

We had a large number of electrical tasksand new installations performed. Blair was professional and nothing was a trouble for him. His communication was excellent and he kept us up to date about the time he would be attending and always attended on scheduled days. I would recommend this service.

Tones Solar and Electrical did a solar 13.8 Kw installation for me.3 electrical technicians attended and worked tirelessly and as a team. Great communication and answered all queries and questions that I had. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I felt very comfortable with them. Worked very neatly and cleaned up. The technicians went above and beyond to hide electrical conduits.Received a fair and reasonable quote and all work was completed on time and as prescribed.Fine young electrical technicians that Tones Electrical should be proud of.I will tell everybody that I can just how good Tones Solar and Electrical were to deal with.Glenn

Tones were the install contractors for our Solar System and deserve praise for the quality of the work. Reece explained that given the age of the house and the non standard spacing of rafters etc, that the panels may not be possible to fit the panels as per the original plan provided to them by the system designersThe finished job looked a lot neater than I was expecting, the did their absolute best with a a tricky installWell done

XXXXXX from Tones visited us on Wednesday 5th October 2022 to provide a quote as part of a large renovation project we are planning. Quote to be delivered Monday 10th October. Today is 17th January 2023 and still no quote. Apparently XXXXXX forgot your quote"

Solar panels installed for my dad's house, they came checked it out first to check it was possible (had been told by another company couldn't be done because of old tiles) they advised which solar panels and did an amazing job, answering all my dad's questions on how it all worked and did a great job. Highly recommend

Whole house renoI have used Tones for everything electrical for my whole house renovation. From the office staff to the trades people, they have always been helpful and pleasant to deal with. Blair is an efficient, tidy and hard working tradesman and understanding of all my requests. He has respected that this is my home and has gone over and above the normal..However, the company has scheduling issues and can not be counted on to arrive at the appointed time
