The Dingley Hotel

Had a rainy sunday lunch there with the family. Food is pretty good. Lots of screens if you are into sport. Modern, mood lit decor. Bit of a surprise for location.

The food is almost inedible! Lucky to find some chicken in the snitzel.and since when is shredded cabbage with flavourless oil a salad?The high light of the meal was the chips. Would not eat here again!!!

I had a wonderful stay, neat, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, adjustable heating/air-conditioning, great hot water. Breakfast was worth the money and Chris (I think that’s his name) who took my confusing order and served me made a great cappuccino and was so lovely. I will most definitely be back for my next work trip here again.

This place used to be good at one point. Today it wasn't. Booked in for their Mother's Day function. The menu said a choice of fish or steak for the Mains and at no point anyone asked us for our choice. We were handed one each to swap at the table!?!? Hey! What if both want steak or fish? Nah! Sorry! You can only have what we give you. Every venue we've been to, we've been asked of our choice, not here. Pavlova looked like a reassemble of what was left on the floor after a mishap. And one of the wait staff such attitude! Polite impoliteness if that's something. Sorry, felt like it was a mistake, so never again sadly, will have to find another spot.

Frequent the bistro regularly for dinner catch ups with a group of mates! Always book online, tables ready, food comes out on time and the bar staff are always friendly. Parma’s are delicious and quantity is great. Easy good value pub!

Very nice staff everywhere, at the restaurant as well as hotel. The only issue I have is the breakfast. On the menu, you get just meals with eggs and one pancake meal and outside a bit of toast and jam. Doesn't look really inviting. Maybe a few fewer poached egg meals and something with croissants or French toast or waffles would make it? Otherwise, the room was very clean, and the bathroom was too.

The worst chicken parma I have ever had. Tough chewy chicken, gluggy breadcrumbs, very ordinary sauce and the coleslaw consisting of only coloured cabbage was not discernably dressed.When I paid for it I asked for a receipt, the maitre'd frustrated said I can't have one because there's a problem with the computers - just bordered on being rude.

I was here for an anniversary function. They did a great job with the whole event. Food was good, plenty of parking. This is a large establishment with bistro, gaming and accommodation.

Waited 45 mins for food during a quiet time. No apology or compensation was given. Waitress was kind about it but overall a very negative experience.

If you don't mind driving, than it's ok. Otherwise to go most destination, takes minimum 30-45mins drive out to Melbourne.But its does have a great shopping spot nearby ... The DFO and many other. If you need do lots of shopping and have baggage allowance.Room size good but it's seems not a very new motel. But cleanliness is ok still.Parking is ok for those self drive.Bed comfort level not as good as those we tried b4. A bit too soft.Service wise nothing much as only do check in & out.
