went in to get my left headlight changed as the bulb had blown, they told me a wire had snapped and quoted me $80. i did think was a bit high but knowing nothing about cars i didn’t say anything. went in to pick it up today and they told me they had fixed something else that i did not ask for and was unrelated to the headlight and tried to charge me $150. i was told when i dropped my car off i would be given a call before anything else was fixed and that did not happen. rude and bad customer service all around, would not recommend.

I live in the area and personally i am very impressed by their service as it was my first time to visit there because before them i use to visit other Mechanical Garage. They checked my car in detail and called me before doing any further repairs, also the prices are bery very reasonable and with friendly staff in the garage.Will recommend with a 5 star review and have recommended my friends living in the area as well . I always wanted to support honest and local business owners

went for a routine service. got informed that my brakes and rotors needed machining. informed me of the situation and the cost before proceeding, charged 400 for that plus the cost of the remainder of the service. I don't know cars well enough to really know if I'm being ripped off or not but nonethless at least I was fully informed rather than just finding out everything at the end I guess. The service also took longer than expected and I was also informed about this in advance. also got a little car freshener at the end of the whole thing. So overall I think communication and service was great, those of you with better understanding of cars can make a judgement if the cost is appropriate.

Did a Crank Angle Sensor on my old car. Did it well, fixed the problem, did it on time and did it for a reasonable price. Simply, they get it done.

Probably not taking my car here again! I took my car in to replace the timing belt, and they charged a reasonable price, but that was about it. They bodged the job, and then had to take the car back to fix it again, at least they did. But then after it was done, the car felt like it was missing, with it running rougher, with a poor idle, whereas it was fine when taking it in. The engine was also a fair bit noisier than when I took it in. I asked to say if they knew what might be causing that, but was shut up with “that noise is normal on these Holdens”. After taking my car back home, I went to pop the bonnet, to have a sus out, and even that didn’t work! This is the first and last time I will trust my little Barina with these Mechanic’s. A once trusty car, has now presented me with numerous issues. Not to mention the mechanic’s didn’t even adjust the timing correctly the second time round. It was found to be a notch off, and did not match the timing markings! I could say I might trust the mechanics there to do a simple oil change, but even that is debatable. When the car was still at the mechanics, the car was sounding very bad (from them not fitting the tensioner properly), the mechanic checks the oil dipstick whilst running. How is that supposed to give an accurate reading?I advise not to visit this mechanic. I’d also not trust all the fake reviews on here as well.Even if they somehow offered to fix my car for free, I would still reject the offer. An absolute lack of trust has been established.Edit; yes the coil pack was faulty, but the issue was not present before. The other issues stated above were further issues.

Almost charged double for the drums and other things they changed checked with another mechanic everything same and he was to charge me half the amount the amber motors charged me…they put labour cost in the item cost and then they charge you again for labour..got charged 1650 for 1000 dollar work..never going backEdit..yes the condition was not driveable and the job you have done is very good but i put a review for the price its not a trade price at supercheap i checked price the top quality and expensive drums were 360 for pair with gst and u have charged me 580 with gst just for the item not with labour which is extra i agree but 580 for drums which is 360 outside of top quality and also today you said the battery is 270 normal and 360 good one wheras i got it for 225 the heavy duty one top quality..no complaint about work that was good but please dont overcharge your customers i trusted because we are from same community..thanks

Simer listened to me, quoted competitively, booked me in ASAP, did the job (Crankshaft Angle Sensor) perfectly and finished on time. They are proper hardworking mechanics. Highly recommend.
