Transcontinental Hotel
We had a great overnight stay, camped out the back. Walked in late afternoon and asked if we could camp, the owner - no worries at all, showed me a spot, all free. Use of Toilets & showers and after set up, we were in for a beer and meals. Very friendly owners, had a fabulous meal and some laughs in this iconic outback hotel.

Transcontinental Hotel
I had the burger & chips and I enjoyed it. The place has a nice outback feel. I felt $100 for a room with no tv, shower or toilet was $40 overpriced.

Transcontinental Hotel
A stay at the Oodnadatta Hotel will certainly give you a great insight into the true Australian Outback. The locals are friendly and always interested to share a tale or two. The new Managers Warren and Toni couldnt have been more welcoming and the meals are 1st class. If your lucky you might even meet a Movie Star there!! Look out for Ronnie!

Hosts Warren and Toni run a clean, tidy and friendly pub. We were able to park and stay in our camper in the back yard and enjoy good food and cold drinks. Highly recommended.

The best pub , such a great place and we can not wait to go back... i would drive across Australia to have a cold beer here and see if the trinkets i hanged on the wall are still there

Had a fantastic dinner here last night we had a group of 10, very big meals, I had the beef snitty which was massive and couldn't finish service was great with very friendly staff, a great outback pub experience

Cold beer, friendly people and free camping!Added bonus of clean toilets and hot showers. Absolutely everything you want after a day or three on the tracks getting here.

Transcontinental Hotel
Our group of 8 bike riders stayed for two nights, comfortable, clean, good food and a great atmosphere. The current manger, Warren, couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Good old fashioned customer service !
