Wonderful ambience, dishes are delicious by an experienced chef. The service is great and we were greeted with warmth.They’re open for lunch and dinner and I recommend the lamb off their day specials. Meat was robust and flavours were on pointe.

We ate here last weekend after hearing so many good reviews, and we were not dissapointed, every dish was delicious, and we all really enjoyed the meal, the quality and flavous were that of a 5 * restaurant. Such a hidden gem in Varsity if you have not tried this little place you must go! Have booked again for this weekend to introduce some friends to the place. Will now be our regular.

WOW! What a surprise. My wife and I came upon Restaurant J whilst looking for an early dinner place following an appointment nearby.Amazing great tasting food with a difference. The chef was welcoming and displays a love of fine food. Very well priced for those on a budget. Exceptional quality and value. We look forward to our next visit to Varsity Lakes.

OMG. This is the best Nasi Goreng I have ever had. Chicken is tender and moist. Prawns are succulent, crunchy fried onions and perfectly cooked rice. I asked for medium hot and the spice level is perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Nothing but good words here. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!! If you’re looking for amazing flavors in food and are a big foodie, this is the place to be. You will be seated and served by the owner, who will continue to amaze you throughout your courses. No mater what you order from his place, it’ll taste out of this world. The steak was the best steak the table has ever tasted. Even the salads were the best salads I’ve ever tasted. He would continue to give our table multiple FREE tasters and offered free desserts to the kids. The chef is talented and the price he charges is so little for what you get. Bring your friends and family here, I promise everyone will be leaving fed and happy. That’s something I’ve found hard to come by on the Gold Coast, as everything is way over priced and just doesn’t include anything special or gives you any flavors. Thank you so much for your kindness and we will be back!

The chef is extremely relaxed and down to earth and makes you feel very comfortable. The food is amazing and he gave us the vegetable cakes for free to try. He's kind and generous and you can tell he enjoys providing customers with a great experience and quality food. The nasi is seriously good!

Food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. And the Burmese food, you must try if you go there. Highly recommended to anyone who wanna try the authentic Burmese food.

Wow, the chef's passion for food is impeccable! I have dined here on many occasions and never been disappointed. All dishes prepared fresh by an executive chef. All at unbelievable low prices, experience it now before he realises the true value of his food offerings. Go check it out now, seriously.
