Benowa State High School

Best school ever the teachers are nice and the students thanks to that I'm getting amazing grade and wonderful friends

yeah it's pretty good, just wish i could change my elective between terms rather than between semesters, but i am unsure whether the school is to blame or if it's queensland education that is to blame but, other than that it is a pretty good school.

I was an exchange student (2018) and I loved my experience at Benowa High (apart from my physics class). My best memories are the Reef trip to North West Island and in general Mr. Riley’s classes. My English professor (I don’t remember his name unfortunately) was amazing as well and I loved his approach to War poetry. Judi and Tania, the two exchange coordinators were fantastic and were always there for us exchange students.

I am appalled at what my kids have told me they are learning & the sick & twisted agendas this school is pushing on the students.. I would say this school is more of a place to program the young & vulnerable.My yr7 child was taught about L G B T Q in the first week of yr7 & how its ok for a boy to want to be a girl & vice versa & how there are so many more genders now... I believe there are more important subjects & topics they could be learning. They are pressured to get C-19 vax by both teachers & nurses and are even taught that Australia day should be changed.I am disgusted at the agendas this school seems to be pushing hard onto the students.The principal should be keeping a closer eye and if the principal condones these topics when there is so much more to learn, then they are part of the problem...

Benowa State High School is fantastic, the teachers are incredibly talented and caring. It is a very well run educational environment with plenty of opportunity for children to excel and map out possible career paths.

its ight, not bad. School is such a lovely atmosphere and the air is so fresh. except they need more food at the tuck shop, teachers who give good lesson by listening, understanding and being their for the students. Daniel made a review that is political correct and has a good opinion. I support everyone and anyone, I did read tho some parents not happy with the school that's no good :)

No proper monitoring of uniform etiquette snd appearance. Students are left to do what they want. Don't send your child there

As a former student at benowa high school I honestly cannot find any positive things to say, the school does not cater to individual students and enforces topics and subjects that has no relevance to the real world such as purchasing property or a car, the teachers and staff frequently disregard potentially useful information that students can offer because it's outside of their close minded curriculum. The facilities and utilities are significantly outdated. If I could give this poor excuse for an educational school zero stars I would.

My only and oblique impression of Benowa High is through the eyes of some teachers there who are my patients. I'm a medical practitioner. All I hear from teachers employed within it and other schools, is that Benowa is a first rate facility.Am excited at the prospect of my kids attending as we will be living in its catchment area when they finish at Gilston State Primary.educational facility.
